Ramdin Cools Down Burner

Nivel 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Victor Ramdin opened from the cutoff and Dale Burner re-raised on his immediate left. Everyone folded back to Ramdin who called.

Ramdin check-called a bet from Burner on the {2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop. Both players checked the {K-Spades} turn. However, it was Ramdin who led out on the {6-Diamonds} river. Burner quickly tossed in a call.

Ramdin tabled {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a set and Burner mucked.

Ramdin is back up to 20,000 while Burner has slipped to 23,000.

"That's a Big Pot"

Iakov Nepomnyashchiy raised from under the gun, and received a call from Justin Pechie as well as Eric Crain. William Soffin in the big blind then two bet. All players called, and four of the five players left at Table 289 got to see a {2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop. Nepomnyashchiy bet again and received a call from Pechie. Short stacked Soffin made the call and was all in.

With the {2-} on the turn Nepomnyashchiy bet and was all in. Pechie said "that's a big pot" and made the call.

Pechi: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Nepomnyashchiy: {K-Spades}{2-Spades}
Soffin: unknown

Soffin never flipped his cards and simply threw them in the muck, and was eliminated. Pechie would need a king on the river in order to simply chop the pot. He received no such luck as the {q-Hearts} rolled off the deck for the river.

Liu Slipping

Nivel 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

JJ Liu opened from the hi-jack and was called by Leonardo Fernandez in the big.

Fernandez check-called a bet from Liu on the {2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. However, both players decided to check all the way down on the {9-Diamonds} turn and {5-Diamonds} river.

Both players were reluctant to show their hands, but Fernandez eventually tabled for {A-Hearts}{8-Spades} and it was good, as Liu mucked.

Liu is down to 23,000 while Fernandez sits right around even with 42,000.

Rich's Riches

Jordan Rich raised from middle position to find himself facing a two bet from Karen Manfrede. Rich made the call and got to see a {4-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop where Rich check-called a bet from Manfrede. On the {A-Diamonds} turn both players checked.

The {k-Clubs} river allowed for Rich to bet and Manfrede to call. Rich flipped {k-Spades}{10-} for a pair of kings, and Manfrede in her disgust showed {Q-}{Q-} for a lesser pair of queens.

Straight On The Board

Nivel 2 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Preflop, Al Riccobono raised it up from middle position, and William Soffin on the button put his last few chips in to call the bet. Justin Pechie in the big blind also called and they all saw the {7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop. Pechie checked, Riccobono bet, and Pechie called.

The turn came {8-Hearts} and again, Pechie checked, Riccobono bet, and Pechie called.

The river came {6-Spades} to put a straight on the board and both players checked. Riccobono showed {9-}{9-} for the flopped nut set, but which now was just him playing the board. Pechie was also playing the board with {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, but the all in Soffin had {10-}{q-} in his hand to give him a higher straight than the board and he doubled.

Pechie still has around 105,000 at the five handed table and Riccobono has around 45,000
