Smith Plummets

Jordan Smith has dropped down to just 44,000 after he lost a 200,000 pot with {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} to {A-Spades}{K-Spades} when the board came {4-Spades}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades} to make his opponent the nut flush.

Lets Get Some Real Money

The following players were the last to receive the $4,821 payout for their efforts. Everyone busting from here on will receive a nice $5,515 or more!

Ingram Sent Home

Mark Ingram made it 12,000 preflop only to be three-bet to 33,500 by his opponent. Ingram moved all in and his opponent made the call.

Ingram: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The board came {2-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Ingram was sent packing from his opponent's pair of kings.

No Delight for Dwyte

"Ahhh, the jack from space!"
"Ahhh, the jack from space!"

Following some loud Brazilian railbird cheers, our PokerNews field reporter rushed over to Andre Akkari's table to scoop out what had happened.

The board was spread {5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and it was Akkari's {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} scooping the pot to see him move to 140,000. His opponent in the hand - Dwyte Pilgram - had his {10-}{10-} cracked and slipped down to 95,000 in chips.

Calling a Spade a Spade

Nivel 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Ryan D'Angelo attempted to be a gardening version of Neo from the Matrix but he was unsuccessful at dodging the spades.

D'Angelo had three bet a 7,500 raise to 16,000. His opponent then called and open-jammed the {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} flop for 52,500 and D'Angelo called with only {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. But he was ahead against {9-Spades}{8-Spades} and held on a {4-Clubs} turn until the {3-Spades} came on the river to make a flush for his opponent.

D'Angelo drops back to 205,000.

Watt-ever

Simon Watt opened the action by raising to 7,500 from early position. Mike Allis made the call from late position and the player on the button decided to tag along as well.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Watt opened by betting 10,000. Allis mucked his cards rather quickly and the player on the button went into the tank. Eventually he mucked his cards, and Watt was able to grab the pot.

A few hands later, on a flop of {3-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Watt bet 20,000 into his opponent. The opponent made the call and the {4-Spades} turned. Watt decided on 30,000 this time around and once again his opponent called. The {A-Spades} fell on the river and Watt moved all in. His opponent folded and Watt was able to scoop yet another pot, solidifying him as one of our top stacks remaining in the tournament.
