Raptor Attack

When we reached the table, the board was completed {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, and over 250,000 was in the middle. David "Raptor" Benefield was heads up with William Thorson, and Benefield moved all in from the blinds for effectively 210,000. Thorson went deep into the tank, but eventually folded.

Benefield now boasts a monster stack with over one million chips.

Three Ladies for Grospellier

Mikhail Shalamov was on the button and got his last 103,000 all in preflop, which Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier called from the big blind.

Shalamov: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Grospellier: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The ladies were kind to Grospellier, especially when a third decided to join the fun on the {9-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. The {4-Clubs} turn left Shalamov drawing dead, while the {J-Diamonds} river made his elimination official.

Table 365

Nivel 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With things winding down for the night Table 365 has found a way to make most of the rest of their time today. All players at the table have agreed that if a pot is won without a showdown then the player who won the hand has to show at least one of their whole cards. Table 365 is scheduled to be the next table broken so all players are trying to get as many hands in and have as much fun as they can while they can.

Lucky Number Seven for Cada

2009 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Joe Cada raised all in for 162,000 from middle position and Tyler Smith called off his shorter stack from the button.

Cada: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Smith: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

Best grab your coin boys and girls, as it's flippin' time! Cada was looking to dodge and ace or jack, which he managed to do on the {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop. Things got even better for Cada as the dealer burned and turned the {7-Clubs} to give him the hand and avoid sweating the river, which ended up being the {2-Spades}.

Gromov Gone

When we got to Table 370 we found Youcef Benzerfa raising from early position. When action folded around to Dmitry Gromov he shoved for around 140,000. Bernzerfa made the call and showed {A-}{a-}. Gromov was in really bad shape as he held {A-}{J-}.

The dealer put out five cards and they came out {2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Gromov was never able to catch up and was eliminated.

DeMaci Gets Richer

Chris Demaci was in the hijack and put in a raise to 19,000. Michael Gagliano was next to act in the cutoff and put in a three-bet to 44,000, which cleared the field back to Demaci.

"All in," Demaci responded, which elicited a snap-fold from Gagliano.

Jones is Ballin'

Aaron Jones open-shoved his last 75,000 from the hijack seat, and Chris Moorman called on the button. The action behind folded, and the hands were opened.

Jones: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Moorman: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}

Jones held as the board ran {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, doubling him to 168,000 chips.

Sean Getzwiller - Eliminated
Sean Getzwiller - Eliminated

The action folded to Sean Getzwiller who moved all in from the small blind for his last hundred thousand or so. Jeremy Menard snapped it off in the big blind, and had Getzwiller dominated.

Getzwiller: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Menard: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Getzwiller did not improve as the board ran {j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, and he was eliminated.

Schwartz Unable to get Past Hyman

Noah Schwartz
Noah Schwartz

Noah Schwartz was all in preflop for 165,000 holding {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} and up against the {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} of Matthew Hyman. Schwartz was in a dominating position and primed to double, but the {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} changed all that. Hyman had hit his set to take the lead and left Schwartz in need of some major help.

The {7-Clubs} turn meant Schwartz needed an ace on the river, but this was not Barry Greenstein's book. Instead, the {5-Clubs} blanked on the river to send Schwartz to the payout desk.
