Sometimes, There Are Good Reasons ...

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Valerie Stephens has reduced the male player count by one, having busted a kindly gent after he got the last of his money into the middle before the flop with {A-}{Q-}, only to watch after Stephens' {8-}{8-} improved to a full house on the board of {8-}{3-}{3-}{X-}{X-}.

Another French player at the table handed Stephens a $100 note; as it turns out, the gentleman was in fact playing for charity and his friends were offering the $100 as a bounty on his head.

Patrick Devini was playing for a breast cancer charity as well, but he was busted at the hands of Shola Akindele after getting the last of his chips into the middle with {A-}{J-}, but ran into Lori Miller's {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Even so, both players lost out to Akindele's {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} after the dealer spread the board of {J-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}.
