Lamb Chops at Laak

No-Limit Hold'em

David Baker raised from the hijack to 1,300. Phil Laak was on the button and flat-called before Ben Lamb three-bet from the small blind to 5,000. Baker folded and then Laak called.

The flop came down {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Lamb bet 5,600. Laak made the call to see the {Q-Diamonds} land on the turn. Lam kept his foot on the gas and bet 13,000. Laak folded and Lamb won the pot.

Greenbacks for Greenstein

Omaha-8

Barry Greenstein raised in middle position, and Daniel Negreanu and George Lind called. The flop came down {2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, and Lind led out. Greenstein called, and Negreanu folded.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds}, and Lind led again. Greenstein raised, and Lind called.

Lind checked for the first time after the {j-Spades} rivered, and Greenstein tossed out a bet. Lind called. Greenstein opened up {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for trip sixes, Lind mucked, and Greenstein won the pot.

Ruthenberg Five-Bets

No-Limit Hold'em

Winner of the $5,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low World Championship back in 2008, Sebastian Ruthenberg, reraised David Oppenheim's opening raise to 4,600 from the small blind. Oppenheim placed third in this event last year and came back with a reraise to 11,400. Ruthenberg then five-bet to 31,800 and Oppenheim went into the tank. Eventually he gave it up and Ruthenberg won the pot.

E-Dog Takes Bite Out of Glantz

2-7 Triple Draw

Erick Lindgren raised in the cutoff and Matt Glantz re-raised on the button. Lindgren made the call as each player drew one. Lindgren bet and Glantz called.

On the second draw, Lindgren stood pat and bet while Glantz drew one again and called.

Both players then stood pat and Lindgren checked this time. Glantz tossed out a bet and Lindgren came back with a check-raise which was called. Lindgren turned over {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} which was good when Glantz mucked. Both players are sitting with stacks below the starting amount though.

Jacks for Diaz

Nivel 3

No-Limit Hold'em

Board - {7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Arturo Diaz led out for 2,000, and "Crazy" Marco Johnson called. The river was the {4-Clubs}, and Diaz checked to Johnson who tossed out 6,000. Diaz quickly called.

Johnson opened up {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a pair of nines, but Diaz tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a wired pair of jacks, and won the pot.

Clemencon Climbing

Pot-Limit Omaha

When we reached Table 358, the board had already been dealt {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, and there was roughly 60,000 in the middle. Daniel Alaei checked in the small blind, and Tristan Clemencon bet 28,700. Alaei called.

Clemencon opened up {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a flopped full house, Alaei mucked, and Clemencon is now well above 200,000 chips.
