Nivel 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Kenney Lets it Go After Big Standoff

Nivel 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Bryn Kenney was in late position and opened for 21,000. James Boyle was in the big blind and made it 75,000 to go. Action folded back to Kenney and he min-raised to 150,000. Boyle called and the flop came {3-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {Q-Spades}. Boyle led out with a 50,000 bet and Kenney called. The turn came {8-Diamonds} and Boyle took a long chug of his beer, finishing it in fact, and then announced all in.

Kenney leaned back in his chair and rubbed his head. He folded his hand and said, "I just had aces."

Paris Loses Some

After a preflop raise, Bryan Paris and his opponent saw a flop of {4-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the turn came {6-Spades}. Once again they both checked to see the {A-Diamonds} fall on the river. his opponent checked once more and Paris fired out 18,500. After much deliberation, his opponent made the call tabling {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. Paris mucked and was knocked down to 255,000.

Sayonara Schwartz

Andy Philachack has collected Noah Schwartz's scalp to build his stack up to more than 300,000 as we approach the last break of the day.

From the under the gun, Schwartz moved the last of his money into the middle with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}, but ran straight into Philachack's {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, which made the nut flush after the dealer spread the board of {5-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Chip Me Up!

Founder of ChipMeUp Rayan Nathan has just given another player his cue to leave as we tick over into 1am here in the Amazon Room.

From under the gun, an opponent shoved for 22,000 and the action folded around to Nathan on the button, who re-raised all-in for 188,000. The blinds got out of the way and then the players went to showdown:

UTG: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Nathan: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The flop of {Q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} was golden for Nathan, as it gave him top set. The {J-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing, so needing one of the two kings left in the deck, the opponent was felted after the dealer peeled of the {9-Hearts} on the river.
