Ippolito Goes Home

Nivel 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

... or possibly to the Players Championship Final Table going on behind us. That's besides the point though.

He was eliminated when he got his {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} all in against the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} of Austin Marks.

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Ippolito does whatever it is Peter Ippolito does when he busts from a tournament.

Broadway for Eslami

On a flop {J-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades}, Ali Eslami got all in and was up against Mark Bartlog, creating a pot worth 105,000.

Eslami: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Bartlog: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The {J-Clubs} turn meant that their would be no low, and it also gave Eslami the lead with a higher two pair. The {10-Hearts} on the river improved Eslami to Broadway as he doubled his stack.

Hennigan Gets There To Double

Nivel 13 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Limped twice by John Hennigan and a player in the cutoff, the small blind completed and the big blind checked.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and after two checks, Hennigan bet 6,000. The player in position called and the turn was seen heads up.

The dealer put out the {8-Spades} and Hennigan's bet of 20,000 was met with an immediate all in from his opponent. Hennigan had only about 32,000 behind after his initial turn bet and made the call for less.

Hennigan: {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Hennigan was in bad shape but the river {a-Diamonds} dug him right out of the hole. He made a flush and the nut low with one card and doubled to 118,000.

Guerre Makes Hunt his Hunted

We found David Hunt all in preflop and at risk against big stack Maurizio Guerra. Their cards were as follows.

Guerra: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Hunt: {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts} to give Guerra kings up which was good to win the pot and eliminate Hunt.

Gregorich Scoops to Eliminate Phillips

Justin Phillips
Justin Phillips

Justin Phillips raised to 7,000 from the hijack and was called by Ali Eslami on the button. Mark Gregorich then reraised 21,000 more from the small blind. Phillips called all in for around 21,000 while Eslami got out of the way.

Gregorich: {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Phillips: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Gregorich's full house and low was enough to scoop the pot and send Phillips to the rail.

Not Quite a Double for Sunar

We didn't catch all the betting, but we do know that Sunar was all in on a flop of {6-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and called by an unknown opponent.

Sunar: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The {4-Diamonds} turn and {3-Spades} river gave Sunar three-quarters of the pot, bringing him up to 22,000.
