Lindley Surviving

Christina Lindley has been moved to the table in the Amazon where Antonio Esfandiari and David Tuchman are sitting. The group just ordered a round of beers to celebrate the end of the evening, but Lindley — currently with a super short stack — isn't ready to celebrate making the end of the day just yet.

Recently she just open-pushed her stack before the flop, and it folded to the big blind who showed his {8-}{5-} before folding. Lindley showed one card — the {A-Spades} — and scooped the small pot.

Ozzy's Epic Tank

When we reached the table, the board had been completed {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Randy Haddox had already checked, and [Removed:163] fired 22,000. Haddox check-raised to 59,500, and Sheikh went deep into the tank.

During the tank Haddox had a beer delivered, there was an announcement made that the Brasilia Room was fully broken, and nearly ten minutes rolled off of the clock.

Finally, Sheikh committed the chips, and Haddox flashed two eights. Sheikh tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for a pair of aces, and shipped the pot.

Deeb Gets a Fold

Nivel 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Shaun Deeb opened for 8,500 from under the gun and was called a player in middle position, Brian Meinders on the button and another player in the big blind.

The flop came {8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and both the player in the big and Deeb checked to the player in middle position, who fired 16,500 into the middle. It was folded back to Deeb, who called.

Both players checked the {4-Clubs} turn, however, when the {J-Hearts} completed the board, Deeb fired a hefty 44,000 into the middle. His opponent fell deep into the tank and after about three minutes, had the clock called on him by another tablemate. A floorman came by and gave him a minute to act on his hand. He eventually folded with about five seconds to go and Deeb scooped the pot.

The Thrill Is Gone

Will "The Thrill" Failla has been battling with the short stack for most of the day, as he explained to Lynn Gilmartin on the last break in the video below. But unfortunately for him, the battle ended unsuccessfully during the final hands of Day 3.

The end came in a hand in which Eric Cloutier opened for 11,000 from the cutoff, a player on the button reraised to 26,000, then Failla reraise-shoved from the big blind for 84,000 total. Cloutier responded by pushing all in himself, forcing out the third player. Cloutier and Failla then turned over their hands.

Failla: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Cloutier: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

After a day full of laughs at Table 440, a most unfunny final hand for Failla. The board ran out {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, and Failla's 2012 WSOP came to an abrupt end.

Bring Your Green Hat

"Action" Dan Harrington, who won the 1995 World Series of Poker Main Event, has been eliminated from the 2012 Main Event.

According to a player at the table, Harrington three-bet jammed over a raise on the button, and Russell Thomas (the original raiser) called. Harrington's {q-Spades}{5-Hearts} trailed Thomas' {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, and Action Dan was never able to catch up.
