Little Loses a Small Amount

Nivel 2 : 25/50, 0 ante
Jonathan Little
Jonathan Little

Jonathan Little had three-bet from middle position and the player on the button reraised all-in. Little made the call and turned over {a-Spades}{2-Spades}, while his opponent tabled {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Little did pair his ace on the flop of {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, but his opponent would catch runner-runner for a flush as the board completed {7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}.

Little is still sitting nicely though with over double his starting stack.

Set Over Set for Ausmus

Nivel 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

With the flop showing {q-}{8-}{6-}, a player got in a pot-sized bet of 825, leaving him with just a few T25 chips behind. Jeremy Ausmus made the call and after betting his remaining chips dark, the player announced that he had "just one set." "Me too," Ausmus said. "The big one."

His opponent turned over {6-}{6-}, while Ausmus indeed tabled the {q-}{q-}. The board ran out clean and Ausmus is back above starting stack.

Brecher Takes a Big One

Steve Brecher

We arrived to a flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and 650 in the middle. Steve Brecher had led for 250 from the cutoff and Jeremy Ausmus raised to 900 from the button. A third player called the bet from Ausmus and Brecher announded "raise pot." The bet was 4,250 total to Ausmus who thought for while, before finally folding.

The middle position player made the call and turned over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}, but he needed help as Brecher tabled {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for the set. Neither the ace or the diamond came however, as the board ran out {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Brecher took the pot and busted his opponent.

Ausmus said after the hand that he "folded a big flush."
