No More Drama Before The Break

Nivel 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

There were three bigger pots but no drama happened as we finish the fourth level today with 13 players left.

On the secondary table there were a few shoves that got through uncalled and then we had a {2-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop after pre flop raise and three-bet to 250,000 by Doc Barry. Mitchell Lehman as initial raiser called but then folded to the 175,000 bet of Barry.

Back on the secondary table we saw Dan Heimiller raise a {J-Spades}{A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts} turn from 100,000 to 250,000 against David Tran and the latter folded.

The very last hand of the level saw a raise of Dennis Phillips to 80,000 and Tran as well as Robert Cramer called to see the {3-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop. Phillips check-called 150,000 from Tran and both checked the {5-Clubs} turn. The {Q-Clubs} river was checked through again and Phillips won the hand with {8-Spades}{9-Spades}.

Carl Torelli Eliminated in 14th Place ($31,302)

Carl Torelli - 14th Place
Carl Torelli - 14th Place

Dan Heimiller opened preflop and called a raise from Carl Torelli.

The blinds folded and they saw a heads up flop of {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

A bet from Heimiller was again met with a raise from Torelli and again Heimiller made the call.

The turn card was the {9-Clubs}. Heimiller now checked and Torelli moved all in.

Heimiller deliberated for a while and then said, “I guess I’ve got to call.” The chips were in and the cards were on their backs with Torelli at risk.

Torelli {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} had flopped top pair.

Heimiller {10-Spades}{9-Spades} hit his two pair on the turn.

The river {7-Hearts} blanked out and the lucky turn card sent Torelli from the tournament.

Richard Munro Eliminated in 15th Place ($31,302)

Richard Munro didn't have that many chips left when he got the remainder of his stack in with {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for what looked like 190,000 chips. David Smith looked him up with {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and the board ran out {6-Spades}{A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades} to eliminate Munro in 15th place.

Robert Cutshall Eliminated In 16th Place ($24,691)

Nivel 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Robert Cutshall
Robert Cutshall

After the previous bad beat, Robert Cutshall was down to only 75,000 chips and moved all in from the small blind. Donald Maas made the call and turned over {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, he had two live cards versus {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. The {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop gave Cutshall hope for a comeback with two pair and the {K-Hearts} turn was the usual sweat with the added flush draw for his opponent.

It wasn't meant to be for Cutshall when the dealer fanned the {8-Spades} river as Maas made trips and sent him to the rail in 16th place.

Bad Beat for Cutshall

Nivel 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Robert Cutshall limped for 30,000 and Donald Maas raised it up to 100,000. Cutshall then made it 230,000 and Maas called, not leaving much behind.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Spades}. Cutshall let out a deep sigh and moved all in. Maas made the call.

Cutshall had top set {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}and Maas was drawing very thin indeed with {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

The turn {10-Clubs} though gave him his straight and the river {8-Clubs} was no help to Cutshall to leave him very short.

Deborah Phillips Eliminated in 17th Place ($24,691)

Deborah Phillips - 17th Place
Deborah Phillips - 17th Place

Deborah Phillips moved all in from first position and it folded all the way round to Carl Torelli in the big blind and he was more than happy to call.

Phillips {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Torelli {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The cards ran out {j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades} and the last woman standing was out.

That also means we are left with just one Phillips in the tournament.

Stephen Wood raised to 81,000 and the action folded to Dan Heimiller in the small blind, who opted for the call. Dennis Phillips folded his big blind and both went to see the {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop. Heimiller checked, Wood moved all in and got an instant call.

Wood: {A-Spades}{5-Spades}
Heimiller: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The {5-Diamonds} turn gave Heimiller the full house and Wood trips, a meaningless {K-Spades} river saw Wood out in 18th place for $24,961.
