Cyndy Violette Won't Bag Up Chips

Nivel 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We did the usual round in the tournament area to see which notable names are still in it to win it. Unfortunately the seat of Cyndy Violette was occupied by someone else and we just found the confirmation of her elimination via social media:

"I got knocked out of the WSOP Seniors event with about 650 players left out of 4,200 . ! I flopped 2 pair in the big blind ( the best hand ) ... 3 way action , If i win this pot Im in great shape ! OH WELL , now im home going to bed soon ... Good night ...and thank you for the positive vibes !"

Rosenthal Colours Up

Nivel 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Donna Rosenthal
Donna Rosenthal

The orange T5000 chips are coming into play causing those who need their chips colored up a little frisson of delight, and for those who don’t to shoot them covetous glances. With a starting stack of 3,000 chips getting a few of those in your stack at this time of day is a real achievement.

One of those on the lucky end is Donna Rosenthal who we spotted early on in the day and have kept an eye on ever since. Apart from a few minor setbacks she has kept active at the table constantly chipping up and she has projected a fun loving and friendly demeanour perfectly encapsulating the spirit of the tournament.

Who Will Be Chip Leader?

Nivel 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We noticed a couple of players with 50,000 chips and more, so a clear chip leader may still emerge in the final level of play.

Tiredness a Factor

Nivel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

There are a few tired eyes around the room now as the players navigate their way through the tenth hour of poker today.

Decisions are crucial at this stage of the tournament and fatigue can play a big part in that process for any poker player. A few of these payers though have played sessions many times longer and despite, dare I say it, the march of time, they are well versed in how to cope.

Simon Trumper for example is having a relaxing massage to see him through the last two levels of the night.

Lost And Found

Nivel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

So we did manage to find Barny Boatman and noticed a huge stack next to him on the new table. It turns out these chips belong to Gary LaDuca and he is probably the first player to soon crack the six digits.

"So He Can Be Beat"

Nivel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Ramana Epparla has been running hot on his table, though just lost about 9,000 chips and change after calling two all ins preflop with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} versus {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. The {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop pretty much shut up all hopes of winning the pot and the second opponent with ace high hit the rail.

When we checked the chip count, one player on the table said "So he can be beat," confirming the previous hot run of Epparla.

Losing Track Of Some

Nivel 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

The first tables in the red section of the Brasilia room have been broken now already as well and thus we need to re-find Simon Trumper and Barny Boatman. Besides that we found some other notable stacks for you:
