Flips Man

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Barny Boatman

There had been a limp and a call when the button moved all in for 1,600. Barny Boatman didn’t even need a count, he called and when the other players folded he showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and nodded when he saw the {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} of his opponent.

The cards ran out {3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

Boatman took a dent to his stack, nothing too serious and remarked, “Flips man.”

Trumper Takes Advantage of Tilt

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

When we swung by Simon Trumper’s table moment ago he was stacking chips that he didn’t have so long ago and talked us through what happened. According to Trumper seat 2 had gone on tilt and called when Trumper raised it up with {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop was {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-} and Trumper called a bet. The turn card was the {a-Diamonds} and now with the nut flush Trumper gladly called a shove.

The thing was, said the player next to Trumper, he didn’t even have anything, he had {10-}{9-}.

Waiting for Aces

Nivel 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Simon “Aces” Trumper won Late Night Poker way back in Series 2 and although he may have left the life of a professional poker player far behind he is still heavily involved in poker as the tournament director of Dusk ‘Till Dawn, the largest dedicated poker room in Europe.

He is just above starting stack and was marginally involved in a hand we just witnessed. It stared with a limp from first position which got three callers before Trumper completed the small blind and the big blind checked their option.
The flop was {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. The original limper checked and there was a bet of 1,100 and a call. Trumper and the big blind got out of the way but the under the gun player moved all in. It took a moment to make the decision but the player who led the flop made the call with {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

Good call as he was up against the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. The turn {4-Clubs} and river {9-Hearts} saw a nice double up.
