Down to Double Digits

Nivel 8 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The tournament is now down to double digits as 99 players remain.

With three more levels remaining in the evening, it wouldn't be surprising to see the 13 casualties of the day double, if not triple, once play ends in the early hours of the morning.

Zaichenko Folds Sixth To Dehkharghani

Nivel 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After joining the tournament a little bit late thanks to a deep run in the limit 2-7 triple draw event that saw him make it to the obey before busting out, Andrey Zaichenko entered the $10,000 Seven-Card Razz Championship and experienced some early swings. First he was down, then he was up, and he currently sits on 35,000 in chips. In this pot, Zaichenko opted to folded to Ray Dehkharghani, who picked up some steam and climbed to 53,000.

Zaichenko: (X-X) / {5-}{3-}{5-}{Q-}
Dehkharghani: (X-X) / {9-}{8-}{10-}{8-}

Picking up the action on fourth street, Zaichenko led with a bet, and Dehkharghani called. On fifth, Zaichenko paired, making Dehkharghani first to act. He bet, and Zaichenko called. Then on sixth, Dehkharghani paired, but fired anyway after Zaichenko checked. Zaichenko gave it up, and Dehkharghani won the pot.

Todd Brunson (from Event 10)

Todd Brunson was all in against Mike Wattel and Scott Seiver as the two active players continued to exchange bets until each player's board read as follows:

Brunson: (X-X) / {10-Spades}{K-Spades}{9-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} / (X)
Wattel: (X-X) / {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} / (X)
Seiver: (X-X) / {5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts} / (X)

Seiver tabled his {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} for a nine-eight as Wattel flashed his {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for three pair while Brunson flashed an assortment of cards and mucked before heading to the rail.
