Steven McNally Eliminated in 10th Place ($23,317)

Nivel 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Steven McNally - 10th Place
Steven McNally - 10th Place

RJ Sullivan raised it up to 50,000 from middle position and Steven McNally took a minute before pushing his stack all in from the big blind. Sullivan made the call with the bigger stand and McNally's tournament was at risk, though he was way ahead preflop.

Sullivan: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
McNally: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

McNally was safe and looking to double on the flop of {6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs} as well as the turn of {3-Diamonds} and his rail was excitedly anticipating his big double. Then Sullivan spiked the {a-Spades} on the river and McNally's supporters erupted with a loud, "Oh!"

McNally was eliminated in 10th place and earned $23,317 for his run.

Everyone Loves a Chop Pot; Not!

Nivel 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Robert Schmidt opened to 48,000, Aleksandr Gofman flatted to his left, and Steven McNally moved all in from late position for 314,000. Action folded around to Schmidt, who after a moment, made the call having McNally covered. Gofman then reraised all in covering Schmidt and Schmidt was forced to fold.

McNally: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Gofman: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

McNally was in deep trouble only having three-outs preflop. The dealer delivered the first three cards, {10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and McNally's pair of jacks was now in the lead. The turn brought the {k-Spades} and the odds turned against Mcnally, as now Gofman's pair of kings was ahead. The river left only chop outs or a jack for McNally and the river {q-Spades} saved his day. Chopping the pot with each having an ace-high straight.

Stout Doubles After Break

Nivel 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

In the very first hand after break, Matt Stout pushed all in from middle position after Robert Schmidt opened under the gun. Schmidt made the call and the race was on.

Stout: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Schmidt: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Stout was needing to connect somehow to catch up to the pocket pair, and the flop of {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} was no help. The turn {k-Hearts} was the wrong card for him, but the {a-Clubs} on the river saved him from elimination.

Sullivan Doubles McNally

Nivel 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

With fresh beers in the hands of his supporters on the rail, Steven McNally pushed all in from under the gun and found a call in Ronald Sullivan from middle position. Everyone else gave up their hands and we had a race.

Sullivan: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
McNally: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and McNally scored the big double with his nines.

"Ahhh, that would've sucked if you busted just as we got these beers," his rail said.

"Yeah, these taste so much better now that you just doubled up," another supporter said.
