Smith Cuts Down Woodall

Nivel 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Dan Smith started the day third in chips, and he's gotten off to a great start as he continues to roll over Table 437.

In a recent hand, Richard Woodall opened for 3,000 from the button and was met by a three-bet to 7,500 from Richard Woodall in the small blind. Smith was in the big and eyed up his opponents' stacks before coming in with a four-bet to 17,700. Woodall responded by moving all in for 30,000 or so, Davenport folded, and Smith snap-called.

Smith: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Woodall: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Woodall stated that he had hoped both his opponents had big slick, but that wasn't the case; instead, Smith had Woodall dominated. The {j-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop kept Smith firmly in the lead, and the {2-Spades} turn didn't do anything to change that. The {A-Diamonds} river was safe for Smith, and he sent Woodall to the rail while increasing his own stack to over 200,000.
