Cloutier opted to go with his pocket pair, but he was in trouble as Engels held a bigger one. The 
flop was disaster for Cloutier as a six would no longer win it for him. He needed either running sixes, a seven with a big card, or some other miracle. The odds were strongly against him, but the 
turn gave him some hope as another ace or the case seven would chop the pot.
Unfortunately for him, it wasn't in the cards as the 
blanked on the river.
