Olisar Doubles Into Chip Lead

Nivel 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Ryan Olisar
Ryan Olisar

We caught the action with a completed board of {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and a ton of chips in the middle. Matthew Lapossie was facing a huge all in bet from Ryan Olisar and, after some contemplation, slid out chips for the call.

"Full house," Olisar announced and Lapossie flung his cards into the muck after witnessing the tabled {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} of Olisar.

After the hand, they were racking their chips to move tables and Olisar curiously asked Lapossie, "did you flop it?" Lapossie shook his head yes and moved to his next seat assignment.

Jaconetti Piles ‘Em Up

Nivel 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Ryan Jaconetti is starting to motor now. He was involved in a pot just now with Tamara Tibbles.

Tibbles raised it up to 8,500 on the button and got a call from the small blind and Jaconetti in the big blind.

Three players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Checked to Tibbles who bet 15,000. Jaconetti made the call and it was heads up to the turn card {10-Clubs}. Jaconetti then led for 22,500 and it was Tibbles turn to make the call. The river card was the {5-Hearts} and the bet size from Jaconetti went up to 38,000.

Tibbles made a quick call but mucked when she saw the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flush of Jaconetti, saying, “Should’ve jammed it on the turn.”

Tough Spot Cripples Stammen

Nivel 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Keven Stammen opened to 11,000 from the cutoff and Anthony Spinella called from the big blind. The flop was {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{a-Spades}, Spinella checked and Stammen bet 11,000. Spinella called and the {10-Clubs} came on the turn. Spinella check-called a bet of 19,500 from Stammen.

Spinella tossed out chips for the call and they each turned over two clubs. Stammen's {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} was no match for Spinella's {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, however and Stammen was outflushed.

Neuville Friendly Four-Bet

Nivel 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

Friend of PokerStars Pierre Neuville doesn’t strike a particularly intimidating presence at the table but he seems to have a knack of accumulating chips and befuddling opponents who may mistake his appearance for weakness.

In a recent hand he opened for 11,000 and his neighbour in the hi-jack raised him to 25,000. Neuville thought for a while as he was sorting some chips and came back with a four-bet to 64,000. His opponent didn’t like that one bit and gave Neuville a hard look while he stared benignly ahead with his remaining stack of 66,000 in front of him.

A minute later his opponent was tapping the table, his cards in the muck as Neuville dragged the pot.
