MacPhee Doubles

Nivel 9

Pot-Limit Hold'em

An early positioned player cut out a raise and a short-stacked Kevin MacPhee moved all in over the top for his last 700. Action folded back to the original raiser who mulled over the decision for a moment.

"Alright, I feel lucky," said MacPhee's opponent.

MacPhee: {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, offering MacPhee a straight and giving him the winning hand to double. He's now sitting on about 1,500 in chips.

Harman Climbing

Nivel 8

Pot-Limit Omaha 8

Robert Mizrachi raised to 700 from the cutoff and Jen Harman called from the small blind. The duo took a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Harman checked to the raiser. Mizrachi continued out for 700 only to have Harman come over the top for 2,700 total. Mizrachi thought for a moment, but ultimately opted to ditch his hand. Harman was pushed the pot and now sits on a stack of about 28,500 in chips.

Stud 8

Burr: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} / {x-}
Cunningham: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{J-Clubs}{7-}{9-Diamonds} / {x-}

Picking up with the action on fifth street, Allen Cunningham checked over to Melissa Burr. Burr fired out a bet and the five-time WSOP bracelet winner called to see his next card. He checked once again on sixth and Burr bet out. Cunningham called once more and the two players received their final down cards.

Cunningham check-called one final bet from Burr on seventh and she tabled {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for eights and treys. Cunningham mucked his cards and Burr was awarded the pot. She is now sitting on about 25,600.

Monnette Scoops Mizrachi

Nivel 8

Omaha 8

On a flop of {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, Michael Mizrachi led out with a bet and John Monnette tossed out a call. The {5-Diamonds} dropped down on the turn and Mizrachi slowed down by checking. Monnette took this opportunity to fire out a bet. Mizrachi stuck around to see the {6-Clubs} finish off the board on the river. Mizrachi check-called one final bet.

Monnette showed {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for an overpair and a low. This was good enough to scoop the pot as Mizrachi's cards were shown but we were unable to see them. Monnette pulled in the chips and now has about 14,000.
