A Silver Line on the Horizon

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Max Silver has more than doubled up his stack despite losing a small pot just now when we walked past his table. He raised from the cutoff and the player in the small blind called. Silver was then check-raised from 6,500 to 14,000 on the {8-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} flop and ended up mucking his cards.

Competition for McNiff

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Evan McNiff is not the only player above 200,000 in chips. In fact, [Removed:532] is hot on his heels now. And Loni Harwood is not too far behind either.

Wrong Timing for Balsiger

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We didn't catch the full action but Jake Balsiger defended his big blind against the preflop raise of Gabriel Balsiger. The {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop was checked through and on the {Q-Spades} turn, Balsiger tried to bluff his opponent out of the hand with {K-}{10-}. "King ten, no spades," he said.

That would turn into an incredible bad timing because Blumenthal had the {6-Spades}{7-Spades} and was guaranteed the double up already. A meaningless blank on the river completed the board and Balsiger is now short.

Ellie Biessek Eliminated

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

After a raise to 4,000 and a three-bet to 7,200, Ellie Biessek moved all in for her remaining 7,500 in the small blind and both opponents called. On the {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} flop, the preflop three-bettor made it 10,000 to go and scared off the other player.

Opponent: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Biessek: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}

"Oh well, nice hand," Biessek said before taking her belongings and stand up. Neither the {9-Clubs} turn nor the {9-Spades} river were able to provide a miracle and she left the tournament area in approximately 119th place.

Muehloecker Busts Ramdin

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Victor Ramdin
Victor Ramdin

Table #433 is a tough one with Victor Ramdin, Barry Greenstein, and Thomas Muehloecker all seated at the same felt.

With a short stack and about to pay the blinds, Victor Ramdin pushed all in from under the gun. Thomas Muehloecker raised from the button everyone else got out of the way to let the two battle it out. "I have a straight-flush draw," Ramdin said.

Ramdin: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Muehloecker: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

On the flop of {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Ramdin's dream of a straight flush were still possible. When the turn was the {8-Diamonds} he needed to find one of the remaining eights to make a full house and beat Muehloecker's queens. The river was the {6-Clubs} and Ramdin's run in this tournament was over.

A Bounty for Romanello

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

It was only a tiny boost to the stack of Roberto Romanello but the Welshman will take it on yet another chase for the elusive triple crown. He three-bet after an all in of a short stack and Vinicus Teixeira De Silva folded an ace.

It was the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for Romanello and {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the short stack. The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and Romanello grabbed the pot.

Huge Pot Sends McNiff Into the Lead

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Evan McNiff
Evan McNiff

Evan McNiff is our new chip leader after a huge clash between him and Artem Metalidi. Metalidi raised preflop with {4-}{4-} and called the three-bet to see a {4-}{6-}{8-} flop. A raising war broke out between the two and McNiff ended up being all in with {9-}{9-} to improve thanks to a two outer on the turn.
