Hennigan Four Bets Hellmuth

Nivel 5

No-Limit Hold'em

John Hennigan was under the gun and opened to 1,800. Action folded around to Matt Glantz who called from the button. Daniel Negreanu folded his small blind and Phil Hellmuth came over the top with a three-bet to 8,000 from the big blind. Hennigan wasted little time making it 19,000 to go, prompting a quick fold from Glantz.

Hellmuth went into the tank for a bit, looking at his own stack first and then shuffling chips while he stared down Hennigan. Eventually, he opted to kick his cards in, allowing Hennigan to take down the pot. Hennigan now has about 200,000 while Hellmuth's stack has been reduced to 91,000.

"Grinder" Takes it on the River

Nivel 5

Pot-Limit Omaha

Brian Rast bet 5,600 into Michael Mizrachi and Philip Sternheimer on a {4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} board, and both players called. On the {5-Hearts} river, Rast checked and "The Grinder" fired 25,000. Sternheimer quickly folded, but Rast took more time. Ultimately, after a minute or two, he mucked as well.

Seiver Over Lisandro

Nivel 5

Pot-Limit Omaha

Jeff Lisandro opened the action with a raise to 2,000 and found calls from Talal Shakerchi in the cutoff, David Bach on the button, and Scott Seiver in the big blind.

The flop came down {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Seiver checked. Lisandro continued out for 6,000, prompting folds from both Shakerchi and Bach. Seiver, however, tossed out a call.

The {9-Diamonds} fell on fourth street and Seiver checked for a second time. Lisandro tapped the table back, allowing the board to complete with the {3-Diamonds}. Seiver took this opportunity to drop out 14,000. Lisandro let his hand go and Seiver picked up the pot. He's now back around starting stack with roughly 146,000 in chips.
