Hamid pulled a king on fifth, giving him first action. He continued his aggression with a bet and Ivey once again called. Hamid fired on sixth, Ivey called, and the two received their final cards. After the deal on seventh, Hamid moved all in for his last 13,500. Ivey shrugged and tossed out a call, showing {9-Clubs}{x-}{x-} for a pair of nines. Hamid shook his head and rolled over {8-}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of fours. Ivey scored the elimination and Hamid fell in 10th place.

The next hand, Ivey won a sizable hand against Dan Heimiller and Christoph Haller, moving him into a significant lead with about 685,000 in chips.

After a series of preflop raises, Yehuda Buchalter found himself all in and at risk for his last roughly 40,000 against Abdel Hamid. The hands were revealed to find the two flipping for Buchalter's tournament life.

On seventh, both players checked and Ivey showed {9-}{8-}{4-} for a ninety-eight. Buchalter mucked and Ivey was pushed the pot, leaving Buchalter with just 25,000.

The next hand, Buchalter doubled through Daniel Negreanu with a wheel. He now sits around 55,000.
