Drake Drags in a Pot

Nivel 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Jason Duval raised from middle position, Sean Drake three-bet him from the cutoff and Duval called.

Duval then checked the {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, Drake made a continuation bet of 125,000 and Duval called. The {K-Spades} on the turn slowed both players down and they both checked. Duval tapped the table and checked again when the [4] completed the board. Drake pushed 475,000 in a long snake-like trail in front of him and Duval mucked.

Peckham Doubles

Nivel 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mark Peckham has clawed his way back to 800,000 chips after his shoved with {J-}{J-} was called by {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. The board ran out kind for those jacks and Peckham doubled.

The next hand, the player who doubled Peckham opened to 105,000 and Peckham moved all-in on him. Five minutes later another player called the clock, much to the annoyance of the player in the tank. Another minute passed before he open-mucked his {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} then complained his friends on the rail had made it difficult to concentrate on what was happening due to their talking.

Drake Busts Another

Nivel 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded around to Sean Drake in the small blind who raised to 120,000. Jeffrey Yeh thought for a moment from the big blind before moving all in. Drake made the call and tabled {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Yeh needed help for his {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, but would get it too late and too little as the board ran out {5-}{10-}{7-}{a-}{9-}.

Rosaario Sent Home by Frankland

Nivel 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mathew Frankland raised to 80,000 from early position and Edgardo Rosaario defended his big blind with a called. Rosaario then checked the {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Frankland checked behind.

The {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Rosaario check-called a 75,000 bet from Frankland. Rosaario then checked the {6-Spades} river only to see Frankland put him all-in.

After around two minutes of deliberation Rosaario still hadn't made his mind up so Frankland called the clock on him. As the timer reached three seconds, Rosaario called.

Rosaario: {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Frankland: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

As Rosaario exited the tournament area Frankland explained that he had called the clock on his now busted opponent earlier and Rosaario had snap-called on that occasion. It didn't work this time, but the result was still the same.

Aliosha Staes No Longer

Nivel 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Sean Drake
Sean Drake

We picked up the action after a {5-Spades}{q-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} flop and Sean Drake checked to Aliosha Staes, who bet 65,000. Drake raised to 155,000 and Staes moved all in. Drake snap-called and turned over {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}, well ahead of the {a-Hearts}{9-Spades} of Staes.

The board completed {6-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Staes headed to the rail.

91st - 99th Place

Nivel 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

From this point forward there will be a pay jump for every nine players eliminated until the final two tables.

Each of these players collected $10,401 for their respective finishes.

Frankland and Levy Collide

Nivel 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mathew Frankland opened to 80,000 from late position and was called by Steven Levy in the cutoff and the button came along for the ride too. The trio watched on as the dealer fanned the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{K-Clubs} flop, a flop that Frankland checked, Levy bet 125,000 on and only Frankland called.

Both players checked the {J-Hearts} turn, but Frankland led for 245,000 on the arrival of the {9-Hearts} river and it was enough to force a fold from Levy.

We sense there is a big pot brewing between these two as they wrestle for the role of table captain.
