Hand #23: Daniel Negreanu opened his button to 1.6 million and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #24: Paul Newey had the button and moved all in for his last 1.075 million. Scott Seiver called from the small blind and Rick Salomon came along from the big blind.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and Seiver checked. Salomon fired out a bet and Seiver folded, allowing the hands to be turned over.

Salomon: {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Newey: {A-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Newey held the best hand on the flop with ace-jack high while Salomon looked for a heart or a four to take the lead. There was no sweat, as the {Q-Hearts} rolled off on the turn and gave Salomon the nut flush. The {J-Diamonds} finished the board and Newey became the seventh place finisher.

Newey: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The {3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop gave Newey some backdoor draws, but those all expired as the turn brought the {3-Clubs}. Newey needed paint, but the {6-Spades} on the river was a brick as well, and Reinkemeier doubled.

Newey is left with just two big blinds.

Hand #17: Daniel Negreanu opened to 1.6 million from the cutoff and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #18: Tobias Reinkemeier limped from early position and it folded around to Rick Salomon in the small blind. He completed and Christoph Vogelsang checked his big blind.

The trio took a flop of {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and it checked over to Reinkemeier. He fired 800,000 and Salomon came over the top with a check-raise to 2.1 million. Vogelsang called the raise and action was back on Reinkemeier. He let go of his hand, leaving the blinds heads up to the turn.

The {9-Hearts} hit the felt on fourth street and action was on Salomon. Salomon cut out a bet of 2.6 million and Vogelsang flatted once again. The {5-Clubs} completed the board and Salomon led for five million. Vogelsang shoved all in over the top for 11.65 million and Solomon instantly called.

Salomon showed {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for trip sevens but was ultimately bested by Vogelsang's {A-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a flopped full house. Vogelsang scored the huge double up and edged out Daniel Negreanu for the current chip lead by less than one small blind.
