Nivel 14 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Hand #1: Scott Seiver raised to 265,000 from middle position, Daniel Negreanu defended his big blind, and the dealer fanned {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}, Negreanu checked, and Seiver took the pot with a bet of 435,000.

Hand #2: Antonio Esfandiari raised to 225,000 on the button, Phil Galfond called out of the big blind, and the two took a flop of {5-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}. Galfond checked, then folded when Esfandiari bet 315,000.

Hand #3: Paul Newey raised to 225,000 from early position, Galfond and Daniel Colman both called out of the blinds, and the dealer fanned {4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. The trio checked. The turn card was the {j-Spades}, all three players checked again, and the {k-Spades} completed the board.

Galfond led out for 348,000, and both of his opponents folded.

Ivey Knocks Out Polk

Nivel 14 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante
Doug Polk
Doug Polk

From the under-the-gun plus one position it was Doug Polk who moved all in for right around 1.7 million chips. The action folded to Phil Ivey in the small blind and he asked for a count, but called before the dealer was done stacking down the chips. Tobias Reinkemeier folded from the big blind and the showdown went as following.

Ivey: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Polk: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The flop brought {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Polk hit a pair, but needed a lot more to double up. On the turn the {6-Spades} hit and nothing changed, the river was the {7-Spades} and Ivey hit a straight. Polk's hand was mucked and Ivey raked in the chips. We are now down to 16 players and there will be a full redraw for the final two tables.

Colman Over Reinkemeier

Nivel 14 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Tobias Reinkemeier opened to 260,000 and Daniel Colman flatted from the small blind. The two saw a flop of {8-Spades}{J-Spades}{k-Clubs} and both checked to the {3-Spades} on the turn. Colman checked for a second time and Reinkemeier fired 300,000. Colman called.

The river was the {K-Diamonds} and they both checked once more. Colman showed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, prompting a muck from Reinkemeier.

Diamonds are Forever

Nivel 14 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Tom Hall raised to 250,000 from under the gun, Christoph Vogelsang defended his big blind, and the flop was all diamonds; {2-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The pair both checked after a fourth diamond - the {5-Diamonds} - fell on the turn, and the {10-Hearts} completed the board. Vogelsang bet 350,000, Hall called, and Vogelsang showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a flush.

Hall flashed {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a lower flush, then mucked.
