Raptor Hunting; Ho Down

Nivel 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Maria Ho will not be winning Event #6 of the 2014 World Series of Poker as she has crashed out of the tournament, leaving Scott Seiver as the stellar name at her former table.

One player who is still in the hunt is David "Raptor" Benefield who you may recall finished eighth in the 2013 WSOP Main Event, banking over $900,000. While he won't win anywhere near as much from this tournament, a win is worth $259,211 and even the affluent Benefield wouldn't turn his nose up at that sum.

Brannan Takes On Aguiar

Nivel 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Dave Brannan started the hand by limping in for 200 from the button. The small blind peeled back his hole cards, didn't like what he saw and folded his hand. Jonathan Aguiar was in the big blind and he tapped the table to indicate he was checking.

The draw-heavy {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades} flop prompted a quick check from Aguiar, an equally fast bet of 200 from Brannan and a fold from Aguiar.

Nivel 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Allen Kessler is tearing things up in the Pavilion Room and sits with 20,500 chips. The man known as "Chainsaw" is sharing a three-handed table with Galen Hall.

Also in the White section, former WSOP Main Event champion Greg Merson is in a great position to progress to the next round as he has turned his 4,500 starting stack into 13,500, while David "Bakes" Baker is armed with 16,000 betting tokens.
