Clancy Doubles, Table 442 Update

Nivel 5 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

As we were counting stacks at Table 442, Jonathan Clancy opened for 2,500 under the gun and got three-bet to 6,000 by Eric Kurtzman on the button. Clancy shipped for about 29,000, and Kurtzman called.

Clancy: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Kurtzman: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop brought nothing for Kurtzman. Paint arrived on the turn and river, but the {q-Diamonds} and {k-Diamonds} danced around Kurtzman's outs, and he sent a double over to Clancy.

Geralis Heads-Up With Big Lead

Nivel 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

With the board reading {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, Joshua Reynolds got the last of his chips into the middle with {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Rick Hollman was ahead with {Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a pair of fives and held up through the {10-Spades} turn and {Q-Hearts} river to score the elimination.

Steven Geralis is the massive chip leader heads up with about 90% of the chips at the table.

Slaubaugh Gets Thin Value

Nivel 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Cody Slaubaugh bet 11,600 from the cutoff on fourth street and was called by Michael Ogrady on the button. The dealer burned and turned the final community card, and the board ended up {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Slaubaugh bet again, 16,300 this time, and the bet caused Ogrady some consternation. He shifted in his seat a couple of times after counting out calling chips, studying his opponent and tanking for about three minutes. Finally, he called.

"Two pair," Slaubaugh said, turning over {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Ogrady expressed surprise that Slaubaugh would bet in that spot, but he couldn't beat the two pair.

Geralis Busts Winter to Take Huge Lead at Table 437

Nivel 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Three players remain at Table 437 after a monster pot between Steven Geralis and Sean Winter. On the end, Geralis pushed all in with the board reading {k-Clubs}{a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Winter called it off, and Geralis showed {a-}{k-} for top two. Unfortunately for Winter, he had turned weaker aces up with {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, and Geralis now has a large majority of the chips in play three-handed.
