Hands #77-82: The Chips Are Starting to Move

Nivel 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #77: Igor Dubinskyy opened for 225,000 from the under-the-gun position and was met by a three-bet to 510,000 by Matthew Lapossie in the cutoff. Action folded back to Dubinskyy, he moved all in, and Lapossie snap-folded.

Hand #78: Brandon Eisen opened for 240,000 from the button and Igor Dubinskyy defended from the big blind. Both players checked the {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and then Dubinskyy check-called a bet of 260,000 on the {A-Hearts} turn. Both players returned to checking on the {J-Diamonds} river and Dubinskyy tabled the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a pair of aces and the win.

Hand #79: Matthew Lapossie raised to 200,000 from early position and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #80: Matthew Lapossie raised to 200,000 from the under-the-gun position and Theodore Driscoll called from the cutoff. It was heads-up action to the {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, which saw Driscoll call a bet of 200,000 from his opponent. When the {J-Clubs} appeared on the turn, Lapossie upped his bet to 350,000 but quickly folded when Driscoll raised to 800,000.

Hand #81: Igor Dubinskyy raised to 225,000 from the cutoff and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #82: In the last hand of the level, Brandon Eisen raised to 240,000 and won the blinds and antes.

Hands #72-76: Uneventful Five Hands

Nivel 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #72: Ted Driscoll opened for 220,000 and Igor Dubinskyy called from the small blind. The two would check the {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and Dubinskyy would take down the pot with a 350,000 bet on the {Q-Diamonds} turn.

Hand #73: Brandon Eisen opened to 240,000 and won the blinds and antes when everyone folded.

Hand #74: Shai Zorr moved all in from the button and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #75: Zorr raised to 205,000 from the cutoff and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #76: Matt Lapossie raised to 200,000 from the button and Eisen called from the big blind. Eisen would check-fold to the 200,000 Lapossie bet on the {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop.

Vimy Ha Eliminated in 8th Place ($68,019)

Vimy Ha - 8th Place
Vimy Ha - 8th Place

Hand #69: Matthew Lapossie opened for 200,000 from the cutoff and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #70: Igor Dubinskyy opened for 225,000 from the under-the-gun position and Theodore Driscoll called from the big blind. The {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop saw Driscoll lead out for 300,000, Dubinskyy called, and the both players checked the {J-Diamonds} turn. When the {J-Diamonds} completed the baord on the river, Driscoll bet 425,000 and Dubinskyy gave it up.

Hand #71: Matthew Lapossie opened for 200,000 and received a call from Brandon Eisen in the cutoff. Vimy Ha then flatted from the button, both blinds folded, and the flop came down {6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Lapossie was first to act and bet 250,000, which inspired Eisen to call. Ha then moved all in for 680,000 total, and both Lapossie and Eisen called.

Both active players checked the {4-Clubs} turn and then did the same on the {J-Diamonds} river.

Lapossie: {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Eisen: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Ha: {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Ha had gotten it in good with a pair of nines while Eisen had flopped the nut flush and Lapossie an inferior flush with an open-ended straight draw. The turn had no consequence on the hand, but the river did as it gave Eisen a winning pair of jacks.

"I guess we could have gotten it in on the flop," Eisen told Lapossie as Ha silently exited in eighth place for $68,019.

Hands #64-68: Ha Shoving

Nivel 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #64: Brandon Eisen opened to 225,000 and Ted Driscoll called from the button. Driscoll would call a 275,000 bet from Eisen on the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and then fold to a 505,000 bet on the {K-Spades} turn.

Hand #65: Eisen opened to 225,000, Driscoll called, and Igor Dubinskyy re-raised to 650,000 prompting folds from both players.

Hand #66: Vimy Ha shoved for 620,000 and won the blinds and antes when everyone folded.

Hand #67: Driscoll opened for 220,000 and Eric Baldwin would call from the big blind. Baldwin would check-fold to Driscoll's 325,000 bet on the {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop.

Hand #68: Ha shoved all in again and would win the blinds and antes when everyone folded.

Hands #59-63: "Listen to Your Heart"

Nivel 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #59: Jack Duong moved all in for 990,000 from the button and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #60: Jack Duong opened for 175,000 under the gun and Brandon Eisen defended his big blind. Eisen then led out for 180,000 on the {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop, Duong called, and the dealer burned and turned the {J-Spades}. Eisen checked and then quickly folded when Duong bet 250,000. The level went up after this hand.

Hand #61: Vimy Ha received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #62: Igor Dubinskyy raised to 225,000 from the under-the-gun position only to have Matthew Lapossie three-bet to 510,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Dubinskyy and he announced that he was all in for roughly 1.7 million. Lapossie quickly called.

Lapossie: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Dubinskyy: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Both players held the same hand, meaning it would be a split pot unless the board four-flushed. The {q-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop made that possible for Lapossie as he was freerolling to running hearts.

"Listen to your heart," someone in the crowd sang from the 1988 Roxette song by the same name. Right on cue the dealer delivered the {6-Hearts}. The railbirds let out a collective gasp, and the energy in the room picked up a few beats. Unfortunately for those looking to witness a bad beat, it was not meant to be as the {7-Diamonds} blanked on the river.

Hand #63: Eric Baldwin raised to 200,000 and took down the blinds and antes.

Hands #54-58: Driscoll Opening Up

Nivel 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #54: Igor Dubinskyy raised to 175,000 from early position and won the blinds and antes when everyone folded.

Hand #55: Brandon Eisen raised to 175,000 from the cutoff and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #56: Ted Driscoll limped in from the button, Dubinskyy completed from the small blind, and Shai Zurr checked his option from the big blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Dubinskyy and Zurr would fold to Driscoll's 205,000 bet.

Hand #57: Driscoll opened from the cutoff to 190,000 and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #58: Dubinskyy opened from the cutoff to 175,000 and won the blinds and antes.

Hands #50-53: Big Double for Driscoll

Nivel 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #50: Shai Zurr raised to 165,000 from the button and won the blinds and antes.

Hand #51: Brandon Eisen raised to 180,000 under the gun and then folded when Vimy Ha three-bet to 400,000.

Hand #52: Igor Dubinskyy opened for 175,000 from middle position and received a call from Matthew Lapossie on the button. Both players then checked the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop as well as the {7-Spades} turn, and then Dubinskyy bet out 275,000 on the {A-Diamonds} river. It did the trick as Lapossie released his hand.

Hand #53: Theodore Driscoll opened for 165,000 from under the gun and Shai Zurr called him. When action reached Vimy Ha in the big blind, he put in a three-bet to 520,000 and Driscoll responded by moving all in for 1.42 million total. Zurr quickly folded.

"There's so much in there," Ha said as he agonized over what to do. The minutes ticked by and eventually Ha spiked in a call.

Ha: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Driscoll: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

It was a bad spot for Ha, but he picked up a little help when the {5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop delivered him a pair of nines. The {4-Hearts} turn improved Driscoll to two pair, meaning all he needed to do was dodge a nine on the river to double. That's just what he did too when the {7-Diamonds} blanked.

Nivel 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #45: Eric Baldwin raised from the button to 160,000 and Brandon Eisen reraised to 395,000 from the small blind. Baldwin thought for nearly a minute before putting his cards to the side and using both hands to move all his chips forward. Eisen quickly folded.

Hand #46: Matt Lapossie raised to 160,000 and Ted Driscoll called from the big blind. Driscoll would check-fold to a 160,000 bet from Lapossie on the {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop.

Hand #47: Baldwin opened to 160,000 and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #48: Vimy Ha raised to 180,000 from the cutoff and Shai Zurr made the call from the big blind. Zurr check-folded to a 225,000 Ha bet on the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop.

Hand #49: Eisen opened to 180,000, Driscoll called and Duong called as well from the big blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Duong check-called a 205,000 bet from Eisen while Driscoll folded.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Duong led out for 300,000 and was called by Eisen. Both players would check the {K-Spades} turn and Eisen's {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} would take the pot off of Duong who held {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}.
