Hand History From a Pro

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Bernard Lee has been able to increase his stack and forwarded me the following brief hand history of what happened:

"Big double up Cutoff raises to 5300, from SB I make it 13600, he ships all in, I call with AK, he has 10-10 Flop AQ3 - J - J At 94k"

Gotta win them flips!

Some chip counts from around the room:

Jones Jostling For Position

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Ryan Jones has been pointed out to us as a player to keep an eye on so we will do just that,

At last year's WSOP, Jones had a deep run in the Main Event, eventually finishing 182nd for $42,990. This impressive result came only a couple of weeks after he won a $440 event at the Wynn for over $35,000.

Jones currently has 103,000 chips in front of him and that puts him above average in this event.

Pay These Men Their Money

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

$3,984 is the reward for their efforts in the Millionaire Maker, the next set of bustees will receive $4,630.

Nguyen Wins One From Ho

Nivel 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

As the players went onto their dinner break, Tuyen Nguyen defended his big blind with a call after Maria Ho had opened from the cutoff.

The dealer spread the {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} flop, Nguyen checking to Ho, who bet 4,000. Nguyen then check-raised to 10,000 and Ho called.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and Nguyen looked set to make a bet of around 18,000 judging by the chips he stack, but all of a sudden opted to move all-in instead. Ho asked for a count, the amount to call was 42,700, and Ho got to trying to put her opponent on a hand.

Eventually, a couple of minutes into the dinner break Ho folded.

Nguyen showed the {A-Spades} which prompted Ho to ask "what was your kicker?" The reply was also a question, "what was your kicker?!"

Ho said it was obvious she had an ace and wondered if her hand was best but Nguyen refused to reveal his second hole card.

What happened to Loni Harwood's Stack?

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

"Oh it was just a bunch of hands. The last one {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} on a {Q-Hearts}{J-}{5-Hearts} flop against pocket jacks." Harwood will be one of the shorter stacks returning from the dinner break.

Almost Perfect Timing

Nivel 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The button moved all in and Jeffey Cole snap called one seat over, the big blind folded with the words "there are too many deuces in the deck."

Cole had {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} and had a sweat versus {A-Spades}{2-Spades} on the {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board. One hand later, the now crippled opponent moved all in with {J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Cole called with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. The big blind moved all in for 14,700 with {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Cole called off, the board ran out {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} to give the big blind a runner runner double up.
