Hagstrom Rolls Out a Double

Nivel 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Tom Cannuli opened to 5,000 from the cutoff only to have Jonas Hagstrom three-bet all in for 18,600. After a few moments considering his options, Cannuli made the call.

Cannuli: {10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Hagstom: {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to see Hagstom spike a wheel on the river to stay alive.

Scott Takes One from Denisov

Nivel 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On a flop of {5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, Aleksandr Denisov bet out 2,400 only to have Andrew Scott raise to 8,500. Denisov called before both players checked down the {2-Spades} and {Q-Hearts} turn and river.

Denisov tabled his {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, but it would be Scott's {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} that would see him scoop the pot.

Martin Above 300K

Nivel 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

A 4,500 four-way preflop pot brought a flop of {9-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and all four players checked to the {6-Hearts} on the turn. Martin fired 12,000 and was called by just one player. Martin bet 47,000 on the river and his opponent folded.

Champ On the Ropes

Nivel 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Ryan Riess opened for 4,000 and picked up a call from the player to his left and the player in the big blind. They saw a flop of {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The big blind checked as did Riess and a bet of 7,000 saw Riess muck his cards.

November Niner Stays Alive

Nivel 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Amir Lehavot, who finished third in this very event one year ago, just put his tournament life on the line.

We picked up the action with around 35,000 in the pot and a board reading {4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Lehavot had checked and his lone opponent bet 11,000. Lehavot responded by check-raising all in for 24,800 more, and his opponent seemed none too pleased. Lehavot sat silently as his opponent debated what to do, ultimately settling on a fold.

Ivey Wins Some and Loses Some

Nivel 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Phil Ivey check-called a bet of 6,500 on a flop of {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and then him and his opponent would check it down on the {10-Hearts} turn and {2-Spades} river and Ivey would take down the small pot with {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The very next hand there would be a raise to 4,200 and a call in front of Ivey who reraised to 15,000. The original raiser folded but the player who had called the raised moved all in. Ivey grabbed his opponents stack of chips and broke it down to see that it was for approximately 67,500 total. He thought for a moment and let his hand go. It's been a roller coaster first few levels of the day for Ivey who now sits with 471,100 in chips.

Set over Set

Nivel 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Chris DeMaci set an opponent all in on a completed board of {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and the player tanked for a minute or so before making the call. DeMaci turned over {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes, and the eliminated player was forced to show {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for an under set.

DeMaci chipped up to 240,000.
