From the hijack, Michael Binger opened to 9,000 and Paul Pierce made the call in the cutoff before Christopher Smith three-bet the button to 17,000. Binger folded, but Pierce made the call as the dealer spread a 
flop.
Smith continued for 15,000 and Pierce check-called as the 
rolled off on the turn and Pierce tapped the table for a second time. Smith cut out a bet of 35,000, and after a few moments deliberating, Pierce tossed in calling chips.
