Updated Chip Counts from Table 367

Nivel 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Online Stars "THAY3R," "19FMzadester" Fall

Nivel 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Thayer Rasmussen ran into kings and busted.
Thayer Rasmussen ran into kings and busted.

After an open to 16,000 by a middle-position player, Eddy Sabat made it 41,000 to go in the cutoff. Thayer "THAY3R" Rasmussen four-bet to 85,000 in the small blind, and the opener folded. Sabat got a quick count and pushed all in, and Rasmussen called off his last 260,000 after only 15 seconds or so.

Rasmussen: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Sabat: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Rasmussen's tournament life was at stake with just two outs, which he didn't hit on the {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} board.

At another table, Steve "19FMzadester" Levy was eliminated in a hand we didn't see.

Dipascale Tips the Scales on Taunton

Nivel 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Gianfranco Visalli made an early position raise to 18,000 and Brent Taunton moved all in for 84,000 from two seats over. Action folded to Joseph Dipascale on the button and he flat called the all in raise. The blinds released their cards and action was back on Visalli who thought for quite some time before folding {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} face up. With that, the two active players tabled their hands.

Dipascale: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}
Taunton: {K-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Dipascale was in a commanding position with his pocket aces, and they held up through the {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Spades} board. Taunton made his way to the rail and Dipascale brought his stack up to about 378,000.

Fernandez and Ruberto Opt to Race

Nivel 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A raising war resulted in Pablo Fernandez getting his stack of 264,000 all in preflop from the cutoff and racing against Tony Ruberto, who was in the small blind.

Fernandez: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Ruberto: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Fernandez was at risk and was the one that needed to improve, but he failed to do it on the {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop. The {9-Spades} turn was no help, which meant Fernandez needed either an ace or king on the river to stay alive. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {J-Clubs}. Fernandez missed, which meant his 2014 WSOP Main Event came to an end in 399th place courtesy of Ruberto.

The kings held as the board came {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}, and Yingling doubled through.

Stephensen Eliminates Giorgi, Hits Seven Figures

Nivel 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Felix Stephensen just became the first player to reach 1 million in chips at the ESPN feature stage today. He opened the action to 17,000 from middle position and Thomas Giorgi shoved for 128,000 from directly behind. Action folded back to Stephensen, who went into the tank before opting on a call.

Giorgi: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Stephensen: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

Giorgi's future looked bleak when the dealer rolled out the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds} flop, and the rest of the board failed to improve his hand.

Troy Sattler Doubles Through Brian Roberts

Nivel 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Troy Sattler was all in for 219,000 with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}, racing with Brian Roberts' {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}. The board ran out {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, safe for Sattler to double up.

Aces Lose, Douglas Doubles

Nivel 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The flop showed {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} when Kel Douglas was all in for his tournament life. He showed {Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a flopped straight and his opponent, Daniel Wilson, held {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}.

The board ran out {5-Hearts}, {K-Clubs} and Douglas found himself a double up.

Simpson Busts Bianchi's Walnuts

Nivel 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Paul Bianchi
Paul Bianchi

That's all she wrote for Pauly "Walnuts" Bianchi, who bought into this event after parlaying $1,200 into a buy-in in three hands at the blackjack tables (in Chicago less than 12 hours before Day 1c kicked off we might add).

Bianchi was nursing a short stack when he got it all in on the turn with the board reading {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Bianchi held the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for top pair with top kicker, but he was drawing dead as Ian Simpson had flopped a set with the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

The meaningless {10-Spades} was run out on the river for good measure, and then Bianchi stood to take his leave.

"Alright guys, pleasure playing with you," he offered. "Good luck."

Bianchi became the 405th-place finisher, good for $29,400.
