Jorryt van Hoof raised to 175,000 in middle position, Adam Lamphere moved all in for 940,000 on the button, and the action folded back to van Hoof, who called.

Van Hoof: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Lamphere: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The Dutchman's dominant pair held as the board rolled out {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, and Lamphere was eliminated.

Jacks For Newhouse

Nivel 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded to Iaron Lightbourne who called from the small blind. Mark Newhouse made it 250,000 from the big blind and Lightbourne called.

The flop came {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} and the both checked to see the {A-Hearts} on the turn. Two more checks allowed the {6-Spades} to complete the board. Lightbourne checked, Newhouse bet 200,000, and Lightbourne called.

Newhouse showed {J-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, prompting a muck from Lightbourne. Newhouse took down the pot and now has 7.645 million.

Michael Finstein Eliminated in 42nd Place ($186,388)

Nivel 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Michael Finstein - 42nd Place
Michael Finstein - 42nd Place

Kyle Keranen raised to 175,000 from under the gun, and Michael Finstein moved all in for an additional 1.22 million out of the cutoff. The action folded back to Keranen, went into the tank.

After two minutes of sitting still and not doing much of anything, Keranen cut out a stack of lavender T100,000 chips, added a few orange T5,000 chips on top, and made the call.

Keranen: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Finstein: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

It was your classic race, and things heated up on a flop of {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. Neither player held a heart, but if Finstein made a set of tens then Keranen would take the lead with a Broadway straight. He could also move ahead with an ace or a queen on the turn.

The turn was a queen - the {q-Hearts} - and Keranen was suddenly in front. Finstein was drawing live, needing an ace or a nine to make a straight, but the {2-Spades} bricked off on the river.

Finstein earns $186,388 for his efforts, while Keranen is up to 11.09 million chips.

Smith Fires Thrice

Nivel 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Dan Smith completed from the small blind and Andrey Zaichenko checked his option. The flop brought {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{10-Spades} to the felt and Smith fired 125,000. Zaichenko flatted and the {Q-Clubs} paired the board on the turn.

Smith reached for chips once again, moving 325,000 into the middle of the table. Zaichenko stuck around to see the {6-Spades} finish off the board on the river. Smith fired a third bullet of 675,000, sending Zaichenko into the tank. After about two minutes, Zaichenko kicked his cards in and Smith took down the pot.

Mahin Doubles with Top Pair

Nivel 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Scott Mahin opened to 175,000 in the cutoff only to have Robert Park three-bet the 315,000 from the button. Mahin made the call and then checked the {6-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop.

Park continued for 275,000 and Mahin moved all in for 1,020,000 with Park quickly making the call.

Park: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Mahin: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

With Mahin in the lead, the {K-Hearts} on the turn and {J-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and he doubled through to 2,870,000 as Park slipped to 4,220,000 in chips.

David Tuthill Eliminated in 43rd Place ($186,388)

David Tuthill - 43rd place
David Tuthill - 43rd place

David Tuthill shoved into an unopened pot from middle position for 925,000. Luis Velador called in the small blind.

Velador: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Tuthill: {9-Spades}{8-Spades}

"Five-six-seven," shouted someone from Tuthill's rail.

"Now, you're just being greedy," Bryan Devonshire laughed. "Ace-nine-eight is way more sporting."

The flop was even better: {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}, giving Tuthill an open-ended straight flush draw and Velador top-top.

"That was so good, we couldn't even think of it," Devonshire said. "Live poker is so rigged."

The {a-Hearts} improved Velador to two pair on the turn. The dealer burned and brought the river card out from the top of the deck: {9-Clubs}, giving Tuthill a mere pair. He knuckled the table in submission.

Clayton Maguire Eliminated in 44th Place ($186,388)

Nivel 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Clayton Maguire - 44th place
Clayton Maguire - 44th place

From middle position, Clayton Maguire moved all in for 515,000 and Leif Force made the call from the button before Craig McCorkell three-bet to 1,365,000. Force deliberated for a few moments before pushing his cards to the muck.

Maguire: {K-Hearts}{7-Spades}
McCorkell: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

With Maguire needing to spike a king to stay alive, the {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop gave him additional outs to a third seven, but when the {2-Diamonds} and {10-Spades} completed the board on the river, he would be heading to the rail in 44th place for a $186,388 payday.

Greer Flops the Flush

Nivel 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded around to Robert Park in the cutoff and he raised to 180,000. Garrett Greer defended from the big blind and the two saw a flop of {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{a-Spades}. Greer checked, Park bet 125,000, and Greer woke up with a check-raise to 305,000. Park thought for a few moments before moving all in and Greer quickly called off for 1.395 million total.

Park: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Greer: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

Greer had flopped the goods, which meant Park needed to hit running cards to steal the pot. The {Q-Diamonds} turn took away any chance of that happening, and after the {K-Hearts} was put out on the river, Greer was shipped the double.

Newhouse Crosses Seven Million

Nivel 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Dan Smith made it 180,000 from the hijack and Mark Newhouse called from the big blind. The flop was {3-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The {6-Hearts} hit the turn and Newhouse bet 200,000. Smith called and the {7-Diamonds} finished the board. Newhouse checked and Smith checked it back. Newhouse tabled {6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair of sixes which was enough to take down the pot.

Zaichenko Over Smith

Nivel 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Dan Smith raised from the cutoff, making it 180,000 to go. Andrey Zaichenko three-bet from the button for 375,000 and both blinds folded their cards. Smith called and the two were heads up to the {2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop. Smith checked and Zaichenko checked it back. The {A-Spades} fell on the turn and Smith checked once again. Zaichenko cut out a bet of 400,000 and Smith called.

The {6-Hearts} finished the board on the river and action went check-check. Smith tabled {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} while Zaichenko rolled over a winning {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a pair of aces. Zaichenko took down the pot
