Smith Fires, Newhouse Folds

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Oscar Kemps raised to 130,000 and found calls from Dan Smith in the hijack and Mark Newhouse in the big blind. The flop came down {8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}, prompting checks from both Newhouse and Kemps. Smith took this opportunity to fire 250,000 and Newhouse called. Kemps ditched his cards, allowing the duo to see the {Q-Hearts} fall on fourth street.

Newhouse checked for a second time and Smith rapped the table back. The {9-Hearts} finished the board and Newhouse checked one final time. Smith bet 450,000 and Newhouse quickly released his cards.

Vladimir Bozinovic Eliminated in 46th Place ($152,025)

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Vladimir Bozinovic - 46th place
Vladimir Bozinovic - 46th place

Vladimir Bozinovic opened to 125,000 and Robert Campbell called from the cutoff along with Peter Placey in the small blind.

The dealer spread a {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and Placey led out with a 275,000-chip bet which was meant with a raise from Bozinovic to 675,000. Campbell tossed his cards into the muck and Placey asked for a count of Bozinovic's stack. Revealed to be roughly 3 million, Placey moved all in for 3,040,000 and the Serbian instantly called for his 2,965,000 total.

Placey: {K-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Bozinovic: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}

With Bozinovic holding top set and at risk, he would need to fade the flush draw of Placey as the turn landed the {6-Spades}.

"Yes!" screamed Placey while he did a little fist-pump as the dealer dropped the dagger of the {8-Clubs} on the river to send Bozinovic to the rail in 46th place while Placey himself climbed to over 6.5 million in chips.

A Very Slow Race

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Garrett Greer raised to 120,000 in middle position, Michael Kamran called in late position, and Craig McCorkell reraised to 355,000 on the button. Greer put in a fourth bet, making it 645,000 to go, and only McCorkell called.

Greer led out for 380,000 on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}, McCorkell called, and both players checked on the turn ({4-Spades}), and the river ({9-Clubs}).

Greer opened up {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} for effectively queen high, which was no good against McCorkell's {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} for jacks and sixes.

10 Milly for Jacobson

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

From the hijack, Martin Jacobson opened to 125,000 and Vladimir Bozinovic called from the button as the dealer dropped a {Q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop.

Jacobson continued for 175,000 and Bozinovic called to see the {8-Hearts} land on the turn with both players checking.

The river landed the {9-Clubs} and Jacobson bet out 550,000 with Bozinovic folding.

With that pot, Jacobson is now over 10 million in chips.

Jason Weber Eliminated in 47th Place ($152,025)

Jason Weber - 47th place
Jason Weber - 47th place

Aaron Kaiser raised to 135,000 from the cutoff and Oscar Kemps called from the button. A short-stacked Jason Weber three-bet shoved from the small blind for his last 790,000 and Andrey Zaichenko quickly released his big blind.

One minute passed while Kaiser pondered his action. And then another. And another.

The time piled up while Kaiser tanked for almost five minutes total. Ultimately, he opted to release his hand, putting a decision on Kemps. He announced a call and the hands were turned over.

Kemps: {K-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Weber: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts}, pairing Kemps' king and giving him the lead in the hand. The {7-Diamonds} fell on fourth, meaning Weber needed an ace or a ten on the river to stay alive. The {8-Clubs} finished the board and Weber was eliminated from play. Kemps took down the pot and now has 3.965 million in chips.

Ryan Fair raised all in from middle position for 880,000. Scott Palmer called on the button, and then Andoni Larrabe reraised to two million from the big blind. Palmer tanked long and hard, but eventually folded, and it was Fair to take on Larrabe.

Fair had the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}, and Larrabe the {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. The flop, turn, and river ran out {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, and Fair was eliminated.

The Jacobson Train Keeps Rolling

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

Martin Jacobson seems to be in full control of his table, as he just managed to take another big pot down.

Jacobson raised to 125,000 from the cutoff and Vladimir Bozinovic three-bet from the small blind to 350,000. Jacobson stared down Bozinovic for a bit and eventually he made the call.

The flop brought out {6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Bozinovic quickly bet 375,000. Jacobson, who didn't take his eyes off his Serbian opponent, tanked for a bit and eventually he made the call.

On the turn the {10-Spades} hit and Bozinovic threw out another 675,000. Jacobson kept staring Bozinovic down, who didn't make eye contact, and eventually the Swede pushed forward a raise to 1,300,000.

Bozinovic played around with his chips for a bit and looked frustrated when he finally decided to let go of his hand.

Assuncao Can't Push Guo Off Big Pot

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

With around 1.1 million already in the pot and a board reading {2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, Dong Guo checked from the big blind and Luis Assuncao bet 650,000 from the button. Guo thought long and hard before making the call, and then he checked the {7-Diamonds} river.

Assuncao used two hands to slide out a big bet of 1.65 million, and Guo made a relatively quick call. Assuncao sheepishly turned over the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for missed straight and flush draws, and Guo tabled the {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a set and the pot.

Tuthill Folds to Sarra Jr.'s Second Barrel

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

David Tuthill opened to 135,000 on the button and got three-bet to 330,000 by Thomas Sarra Jr. in the small blind. Tuthill called, and he saw a flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Sarra Jr.'s continuation-bet was 465,000, and Tuthill exchanged some low-volume conversation with his neighbor before calling. The turn bet was 600,000 after the {8-Spades} hit the felt, and this time Tuthill folded after a couple of minutes of thought. Sarra Jr. revealed {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} before dragging the pot.
