Jacobson Sets Up Jason Johnson in Big Pot

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Action folded around to Martin Jacobson in the hijack, and he put in a raise to 125,000. Jason Johnson called from the hijack, Adam Lamphere came along from the big, and three players saw a flop of {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. Lamphere checked, Jacobson continued for 175,000, and only Johnson called.

When the {7-Spades} appeared on the turn, Jacobson bet a hefty 625,000 and Johnson called. The dealer then burned and completed the board with the {4-Hearts} river. Jacobson paused for a few moments before betting 1.4 million, and Johnson made a quick call. Jacobson rolled over the {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for a flopped set, and Johnson rolled his eyes before showing the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

Lamphere Doubles, Baron Crippled

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

After shoving the previous hand, Isaac Baron moved all in from under the gun for 985,000 and Adam Lamphere called all in from the button for 875,000.

Baron: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Lamphere: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The flop of {4-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{7-Hearts} put Lamphere in the lead, and when the {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Baron would be drawing dead as the river blanked out.

Kyle Keranen

From the button, Kyle Keranen opened to 125,000 and Chris Johnson three-bet the small blind to 300,000 with Keranen making the call as the flop landed {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Johnson led for 350,000 only to have Keranen raise to 800,000. Johnson went into the tank before eventually making the call as the {4-Diamonds} landed on the turn and Johnson checked.

Keranen bet out 1,050,000 and Johnson went deep into the tank before releasing his hand and slipping to 2.8 million as Keranen climbs over the 11 million-chip hurdle.

Action folded to Matthew Haugen on the button and he raised to 130,000. Kyung Cha, who was in the small blind, responded by moving all in for 1.225 million, and Haugen asked for a count before making the call.

Cha: {j-Spades}{7-Spades}
Haugen: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Cha was behind and in need of some help. The {7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop did pair his sevens, but it also paired Haugen's ace. The {5-Spades} turn was no help to Cha, and neither was the {A-Diamonds} river. Cha exited in 54th place for $152,025.

Nivel 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Mark Newhouse opened the action to 125,000 from middle position. Brian Roberts called from the hijack and the rest of the table folded. The {J-Clubs} paired the board on the river, prompting a check from Newhouse. Roberts checked it back and mucked his hand after seeing Newhouse's {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for aces and jacks. Newhouse took down the pot and brought his stack up to 6.935 million.

Wild-water rafting aficionado Bryan Devonshire just won another big pot, which he started off by raising to 140,000 from the cutoff. The action folded to Pau Senter in the big blind and he made the call.

The flop brought out {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Senter check-called 140,000. On the turn the {Q-Spades} hit and Senter checked to Devonshire again who bet 325,000 this time around. Senter tanked for quite a while and called after which the river was the {3-Hearts}.

Senter checked again and Devonshire bet 555,000. Senter tanked for several minutes and eventually he called.

"Boat," Devonshire instantly announced, as he flipped up {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Senter mucked his cards and Devonshire, who finished 12th in this event back in 2011 for $607,882.

Clayton Hamm - 56th place
Clayton Hamm - 56th place

Andrey Zaichenko opened to 125,000, sending Clayon Hamm into the tank in the next seat over. After about two minutes, he announced an all in raise for 715,000 total.

Mark Newhouse was on the button and wasted little time cutting out a re-raise to 1.5 million. Action fell on Brian Roberts in the small blind and suddenly he went into the tank. About three minutes passed before Roberts threw his hand into the muck. Aaron Kaiser and Zaichenko folded their cards as well, allowing the two active hands to be turned over.

Hamm: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Newhouse: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, keeping Newhouse's pocket tens in the lead. The {6-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn, meaning Hamm needed to catch one of the remaining aces to stay alive. The {9-Hearts} finished off the board and Hamm was eliminated from play.

Newhouse picked up the pot and his stack now sits at 6.485 million.
