Nathan Goldstein - 60th Place

Just seconds before the break commenced in the last level, Nathan Goldstein opened for 110,000 on the button and got three-bet to 275,000 by Dan Sindelar in the big blind. Goldstein made it 475,000 to go, and Sindelar called. The flop brought {q-}{8-}{7-}, and Sindelar led out tiny for 180,000. Goldstein raised to 575,000, and Sindelar shoved all in. Goldstein called.

Goldstein: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Sindelar: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Both players had flopped huge, but Sindelar's set was in command. He faded the Goldstein making an overfull as bricks fell on the turn and river, and "dsindy" is now sitting with more than 10 million.

Despite Pfizer Jordan doubling back twice, his run in the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event has come to an end in 61st place.

After an open from William Pappaconstantinou to 110,000, Pfizer Jordan reraised all in for 775,000. Pappaconstantinou called with the {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and would have to fade the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} of Jordan if he wanted to knock his opponent out.

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}, and Jordan couldn't find any help. He collected $124,447 in prize money.

Placey Insta-Checks Turn, Shoves River

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Isaac Baron called a raise in the big blind from Peter Placey in the cutoff, and Baron check-called 120,000 on a {4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop. Baron checked the {q-Diamonds} turn, and Placey immediately checked back. On the {3-Spades} river, Baron bet about 250,000, and Placey shoved all in without much delay.

"Got there on the river?" Baron asked as he thought about whether to call off his final 1.9 million or so. After another minute or so, he folded. Baron repeated the question, but Placey offered only a shrug in response.

Zaichenko vs. Lightbourne

Nivel 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

We picked up the action on an {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop when Iaron Lightbourne checked from the big blind and Andrey Zaichenko bet 130,000 from the button. Lightbourne made the call and then check-called a bet of 275,000 on the {Q-Spades} turn. When the {8-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, both players checked and Zaichenko tabled the {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of aces. It was good as Lightbourne mucked.

Ryan Fair raised on the button, Pfizer Jordan called in the big blind, and the two took a flop of {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Jordan checked, Fair continued for 175,000, and Jordan check-raised to 420,000. Fair moved all in for 1.235 milion, and Jordan made the call.

Fair: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Jordan: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

"It's like a race," Fair joked.

Fair needed some help to catch up, and the {10-Hearts} on the turn was just that. Suddenly he was ahead with tens and threes, and improved to tens and eights when the {8-Clubs} completed the board.

The dealer cut down the stacks, and Jordan was left with 160,000.

"Remember [Greg] Merson?" he said, smiling.

True enough, Merson was reduced was reduced to two big blinds in the 2012 WSOP Main Event before storming back and winning.
