Just 21 players remain in Event #54: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship and three-time WSOP bracelet winner Jason Mercier has the lead.
A host of well known players will also be in the hunt for the $927,655 first-place prize when play resumes at 2 p.m. local time Sunday, including Davidi Kitai, Dan Smith, Shaun Deeb and Hasan Habib.
A late rush by Mercier that included picking off a Simon Trumper bluff saw him end the day as the only player over one million in chips. Mercier already has a bracelet win this summer in Event #32: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed and his two others came in Pot-Limit Omaha events in 2009 and 2011.
