Paduano Busts on the Bubble

Nivel 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Arturo Paduano
Arturo Paduano

On the direct bubble, Arturo Paduano shoved from the button for 55,000 and Maximilian Babl called from the big blind.

Arturo Paduano: A8 All in
Maximilian Babl: K10

The flop of AQ7 gave Paduano top pair, but he had to fade the huge combo draw of Babl. The J turn improved Babl to the nut straight and left Paduano drawing dead as the inconsequential 4 came on the river. There was another bustout on the bubble, which meant Paduano shared the unwanted title of bubble boy for this event.

Bubble Double for Andrian

Nivel 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Simone Andrian
Simone Andrian

Simone Andrian had raised to 150,000 over a previous open, leaving just 2,500 behind. Rostyslav Sabishchenko then re-shoved from the big blind, folding out the original raiser. Andrian spent some time in the tank before the clock was called. With one second remaining Andrian called off with his last chips and was risk.

Simone Andrian: KQ All in
Rostyslav Sabishchenko: AK

Andrian was in bad shape against Sabishchenko's bigger king until the 10AJ flop gave him the nut-straight. Andrian remained ahead when the rest of the board ran out 26 and he doubled up.

Rostyslav Sabishchenko
Rostyslav Sabishchenko

Rostyslav Sabishchenko opened the action with a raise to 18,000. Mariusz Golinski, sitting next to him, responded with a three-bet to 66,000. Narcis Nedelcu then went all-in, prompting Sabishchenko to do the same, covering both players. Golinski opted to fold, and the showdown began.

Rostyslav Sabishchenko: KK

Nedelcu felt secure on the flop and turn, which came 6J66, giving him a full house. However, the river revealed the K, granting Sabishchenko the better full house and allowing him to scoop a massive pot along with Nedelcu's bounty.

Nimrod Algrably
Nimrod Algrably

With two players seeing a board of 8266 and around 35,000 in the middle, Nimrod Algrably was all in for 182,000 from the cutoff and up against Minseok Kim who covered him from the big blind.

Nimrod Algrably: 65 All in
Minseok Kim: 63

Both players had trips and Algrably was ahead with the bigger kicker, although most river cards would result in a chop. The 5 river improved Algrably to a full house and he dragged in one of the biggest pots of the tournament so far while Kim was left with crumbs.

Igor Gienieralov raised to 10,000 from early position. When it folded around to Max Neugebauer, who is the reigning WSOP Europe Main Event champion, he just called from the big blind.

The action checked all the way to the river on the Q10343 runout and Neugebauer bet 13,000. Gienieralov snap-called and Neugebauer turned over 76 for just seven-high. Gienieralov had that beat with AK for just ace-high.

With two players seeing a board of Q910 and around 30,000 already in the middle, Sergi Reixach was all in for 39,000 from under the gun and up against #Jessica Teusl who covered him from the big blind.

Sergi Reixach: AJ All in
Jessica Teusl: J10

Teusl was ahead with second pair needing to fade only an ace, a king or running clubs to secure the knockout. The 2 turn was clean for Teusl but the K river gave Reixach a Broadway straight to take the pot while Teusl was left short-stacked and busted shortly afterwards.

Kenjic's Honest Royal Flush

Nivel 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Jovan Kenjic
Jovan Kenjic

Jessica Teusl kicked things off with a raise to 4,000 from middle position, and Jovan Kenjic in the small blind called.

On the flop of K42, Teusl continued with a bet of 3,000, which Kenjic check-called.

Both players checked when the Q hit on the turn.

Then came the J on the river. Kenjic looked at Teusl and said,"I’ll be honest, I have a straight flush."
After a quick glance at his cards, he corrected himself: "No, a royal flush. If I bet, will you call?" Teusl replied, "I’ll pay."

Kenjic led out with a small bet of 2,000, and Teusl honored her word by calling.

When Kenjic revealed A10, he wasn't lying—he indeed had a royal flush. Teusl chuckled, saying, "Good thing you corrected yourself because I had the nine of clubs and wouldn’t have believed you and get myself in trouble"
