Maliqi Makes Two Pair

Nivel 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, both Bleron Maliqi and Darko Svesko saw a flop of 2710 where Maliqi fired 7,000, and Svesko called.

On the 6 turn, Maliqi slowed down with a check, then called the bet of Svesko, who fired 13,000.

The A dropped on the river and both players elected to check it down. Maliqi showed 76 for two pair, and Svesko mucked.

Bahri stayed ahead on the 352 flop, but the A turn meant only a nine on the river could save Bahri. The river came the 9 and Bahri had rivered a miracle to stay alive.

Satek Shows Ticherfatine Kings

Nivel 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Cecile Ticherfatine three-bet to 20,000 in the small blind and Petr Satek moved all in for 75,000 in middle position. "Don't show me ace-king," Ticherfatine said as she called.

Petr Satek: KK All in
Cecile Ticherfatine: AQ

Satek didn't have ace-king, but Ticherfatine still needed help against his kings as the flop came 1083. Ticherfatine made a pair on the Q turn, but she improved no further on the 6 river as Satek doubled up.

Max Neugebauer was recently sent to the rail and will need to rely on a second bullet if he hopes to repeat as champion this year.

Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb and Max Neugebauer built a pot of around 60,000 as they went heads-up to the turn on a board of 10A64. Deeb then bet 22,000 from the cutoff and Neugebauer called in the hijack.

The river was the J and Deeb moved all in. Neugebauer had around 40,000 behind as he considered the decision for the rest of his chips. "If I had anything I would slow-roll," Neugebauer joked with Deeb before folding. Deeb then showed him two fives as he took the pot.

"Nines?" a tablemate asked Neugebauer.

"He had way better," Deeb replied.

Both players checked the 5 turn to see the 3 hit the river. Rajkovic checked, Shafaatian bet 10,000, and Rajkovic snap-called.

Shafaatian showed K10 for a busted combo draw. Rajkovic showed A6 for a pair of aces to win the pot.
