Dini's Hero Call Goes Horribly Wrong

In a blind-versus-blind battle, Luigi Pignataro bet 50,000 on a flop of 10♠K♣10♣ and Besmir Dini raised to 105,000 in the big blind. Pignataro called and the 7♣ fell on the turn.

Dini then bet another 105,000, Pignataro raised to 555,000, and Dini called. The river was the Q♥ and Pignataro bet 1,000,000, enough to put Dini all in.

Dini had around 400,000 remaining and tanked for several minutes before calling. Pignataro turned over 10♦2♦ for trips and Dini mucked as he headed for the exit. The dealer retrieved 7♥6♣ before pushing the pot to Pignataro.

At another table, Francesco Delfoco was all in for 750,000 from the small blind and up against Metodi Peychev in the big blind.

Delfoco found himself dominated as both players ended up hitting their ace on the 4♠J♦6♥9♠A♦ board, but Peychev's queen-kicker continued to play to send Delfoco to the rail.

Diac found himself deep in thought, contemplating his next move for over three minutes, prompting another player to call the clock on him. With the countdown on, Diac ultimately decided to fold.

As the tension eased, Diac turned to Thiemer and asked, "If I show you my cards, will you show yours?"

Thiemer replied, "Sure, show it."

Diac revealed A♦K♥, and Thiemer flipped over K♠10♣, sparking a wave of laughter around the table. With a grin, Diac remarked, "That was well played."

Thomas Eychenne raised to 100,000 in early position before Mels Hovhannisyan moved all in for 960,000 in the cutoff. Arturo Paduano gave it some thought on the button but eventually folded, while small blind Christopher Campisano reshoved. Eychenne folded two sixes.

Cazacu Eyeing Fourth King's Resort Final Table in Two Months

Adrian Cazacu raised from middle position to 120,000 and Harel Azulay three-bet from the hijack to 270,000. Once it folded back around to Cazacu, he made the call.

They would be the last chips to Cazacu committed to the pot as after the 9♠3♥Q♦ flop, he check-folded to Azulay's 175,000-chip continuation-bet.

Cazacu is no stranger to King's Resort in Rozvadov, and has three final tables here in the last few months, with two runner-up finishes, plus a fifth in a field with almost 5,000 runners. The Romanian player has a healthy stack as of now and will be looking to convert it into another final table over the next few days.

Rachid El Yaacoubi raised to 120,000 in middle position and picked up calls from Nourri Oliver Sebaa in the hijack and big blind Alen Sabic.

All three players checked the 10♣K♠9♦ flop. Action then checked to Sebaa on the A♠ turn and he bet 200,000. Sabic called, while El Yaacoubi put in a raise to 1,000,000.

Sebaa folded, but Sabic responded by moving all in for 1,900,000. El Yaacoubi quickly folded.

At another table, Bjoern Zrenner raised to 150,000 in the cutoff and Rachid El Yaacoubi moved all in for 1,100,000 on the button. Frederic Marechal reshoved in the big blind and Zrenner folded.
