Cappiello Puts in a Massive River Shove on Sabic

Nivel 26 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Alen Sabic raised to 225,000 under the gun and Candido Cappiello called in the big blind.

Sabic continued for 175,000 on the J72 flop and Cappiello raised to 650,000. Sabic called to see the 4 turn.

Cappiello then bet 1,050,000 and Sabic quickly called. The river was the 9 and Cappiello moved all in.

Sabic had around 3,600,000 remaining and tanked for several minutes. A big crowd had gathered around the table by this time as Sabic pondered the decision, but he eventually opted to fold as Cappiello took the big pot without a showdown.

Nahm's Straight Doubles Him Up

Nivel 26 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Volodymyr Pashchetnyk started things off with a raise to 275,000 from the button, but Stephen Nahm in the big blind wasn’t having any of it. He pushed all-in, putting the pressure on Pashchetnyk, who quickly made the call.

The cards were revealed, with Nahm holding K10 and Pashchetnyk showing AJ.

At first, it looked like Pashchetnyk was in a great position as the flop came down A5Q, giving him top pair.

However, the tides turned on the J turn, giving Nahm the straight he needed to pull ahead.

The river brought a 2, which didn’t change anything, and just like that, Nahm managed to double up, leaving Pashchetnyk to rethink his strategy.

Aces Hold, Lyubimov Hits the Rail

Nivel 25 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Igor Lyubimov had been biding his time, waiting for the perfect moment to shove all his chips into the middle. When he finally made his move, Metodi Peychev didn’t waste a second before snap-shoving right back.

Igor Lyubimov: A4All in
Metodi Peychev: AA

Peychev had the dream hand—pocket aces—and it didn’t take long for Lyubimov to realize he was in deep trouble. Already halfway out of his seat, Lyubimov braced for the worst. The board came down J48106, giving him just a small glimmer of hope with that pair of fours, but ultimately confirming what he already knew: his tournament run had come to an end. Peychev's aces held strong, sending Lyubimov packing.
