Tulin, Tournier Fall Near the End
Nikolai Tulin moved all in for 45,000 in the hijack and Arthur Torres called in the cutoff.
Nikolai Tulin: A♣9♦
Arthur Torres: A♦Q♣
Torres hit top pair on the Q♦8♦3♣ flop to take a bigger lead in the hand, while the rest of the 2♥10♦ board sealed Tulin's elimination.
The next hand at this table, Laurie Tournier shoved for 52,000 on the button and Carlos Serrano called in the big blind.
Laurie Tournier: K♣K♠
Carlos Serrano: A♦4♦
Tournier had picked up kings and was a favorite to double up as the flop came 2♦8♣3♣ to give Serrano a straight draw. Serrano spiked top pair on the A♠ turn to take the lead, while the river was the 3♥ and Tournier was sent to the rail.
At the same table, Rodrigo Seiji has climbed up past 800,000 and contending for the end-of-day chip lead.
