Ventura Finds Broadway on the River
Nivel 14
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Diego Ventura opened to 24,000 in early position and was called by the player on his left. The dealer spread the flop of Q♣J♣7♣ and Ventura led out with a bet of 19,000. His opponent called and the 2♥ rolled off on the turn.
Ventura checked this time and his opponent checked it back. The 10♦ completed the board and Ventura tossed in a bet of 90,000. His opponent looked him up and Ventura flipped over A♣K♦ for a straight to scoop the pot.
