Drumond Holds to Double Off Goncalves
Nivel 19
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Breno Drumond three-bet to 180,000 on the button and Paulo Goncalves called in middle position.
The flop came K♦9♣2♣ and Drumond bet 120,000. Goncalves didn't even wait for him to finish putting in the bet before he tossed in a raise to 425,000.
Drumond called and the 6♠ fell on the turn. Goncalves then moved all in and Drumond took a minute before calling for 980,000. He showed K♥J♣ for top pair, while Goncalves was on a flush draw with A♣3♣.
The 7♦ river was safe for Drumond and he earned the massive double up.
