Vieira Wisely Checks It Back
Nivel 20
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Joao Vieira raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Blas Torres defended from the big blind. The flop came A♣J♣4♣ and Torres check-called a bet of 60,000 from Vieira.
The turn brought the 8♣ and Torres checked again. Vieira made a bet of 135,000 and Torres still called. The J♠ paired the board on the river and Torres checked for the third time. Vieira gave it some thought but decided to check it back. Torres tabled K♣Q♠ for the nut flush while Vieira flashed the Q♣ before his cards hit the muck.
