Vieira Spikes the River to Stay Alive
Nivel 23
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
The action folded around to Breno Drumond in the small blind who ripped all in. Joao Vieira was in the big blind as the small stack and called off his last 560,000 on the first hand after dinner break.
Joao Vieira: J♠10♦
Breno Drumond: Q♦8♣
The flop came A♦9♦3♥ which didn't connect with either player. The A♠ paired the board on the turn but it was the 10♠ on the river that gave Vieira a pair to double up.
