Vieira Flops Quads to Survive
Nivel 23
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Breno Drumond raised to 200,000 in the cutoff with A♦J♣ and Joao Vieira pushed his short stack of 670,000 into the middle on the button. Gustavo Neves reshoved all in from the big blind and Drumond asked for a count before opting to fold.
Joao Vieira: 7♣7♦
Gustavo Neves: A♥8♥
The dealer fanned the flop of 9♥7♠7♥ and Vieira flopped quads to jump way out front. The 4♣ on the turn left Neves drawing dead to the 5♥ on the river and Vieira survived elimination once again.
