With around 70,000 in the pot on a board of 5♥Q♠J♠9♥, Luiz Neto bet 36,000 from the cutoff and Marcelo Lopes called in the small blind.

The river was the J♦ and Lopes led out for 105,000. Neto used several of his time banks and eventually called as Lopes showed 5♣5♠ for a full house to win the pot, leaving Neto on an extreme short stack.

As the cards were being pitched for the first time on Day 2, Thomas Eychenne was in a rush to get to his seat, just in time for the big blind. Meanwhile, Andrei Kostetskii had raised to 12,000 from the hijack and Eychenne called.

The flop came 8♦7♦6♣ and Eychenne check-called a bet of 11,000 from Kostetskii. The turn brought the 3♣ and Eychenne checked again. Kostetskii fired out another bet of 30,000 and this time Eychenne dumped his cards to the muck.

Claudio Pitta raised to 18,000 under the gun and was called by Julio Belluscio on the button and big blind Breno Drumond.

The flop came J♥2♥5♣ and Pitta bet 8,000. Both opponents called to the 6♥ turn as action was checked through to the 6♠ river.

Action again checked to Belluscio who moved all in for 70,000. Drumond quickly called, while Pitta got out of the way.

Belluscio showed 8♣7♣ for a missed straight draw, while Drumond had A♥7♥ for a flush to send Belluscio to an early Day 2 exit.

Race to the Money Is On When Day 2 of the BSOP Millions Championship Begins at 2 p.m.

More than 500 players from across Latin America and the world took their shot over the first three days, and now they can begin to think about the money once Day 2 of the R$25,000 BSOP Millions Championship begins at 2 p.m. local time.

Rodrigo Seiji (873,000) leads the 174 players who navigated through the opening flights and return today as the entire field combines into one inside the WTC Sheraton in Sao Paulo. Eike Onodera (764,000), Gabriel Nobrega (738,000), Leo Rizzo (700,000), and Matheus Grazziotin (678,000) round out the top five at the start of the day.

A star-studded field will try to chase the top stacks down today. They include Pablo Brito Silva (583,000), Joao Vieira (539,000), Brunno Botteon (409,000), and Santiago Plante (404,000). Further down the leaderboard are Pedro Neves (398,000), Andres Korn (382,000), Thomas Eychenne (263,000), Rafael Reis (233,000), Renan Bruschi (213,000), and Joao Simao (213,000), while Diego Ventura (181,000), Bruno Politano (173,000), and Kelvin Kerber (60,000) are nursing short stacks.

The action on Day 2 picks up on Level 11 with blinds of 3,000-6,000 and a 6,000 big blind ante. Levels will be increased to 90 minutes for the remainder of the tournament. The schedule calls for six levels today, with a break after every level and a 75-minute dinner break at the end of Level 14 around 8:45 p.m.

The 503 total entries built up a prize pool of R$11,081150. The top 71 players will finish in the money and earn at least a min-cash of R$42,100, with the eventual champion earning R$2,140,000 (US $370,000).
