Defending Champ Tommy Zhang Ends His Run

Kyle Arora opened to 120,000 from the button and was called by Michael Bahls in the small blind and Tommy Zhang in the big blind.

On the flop of 9x3x2x, Bahls checked, Zhang moved all in for his last 380,000, and Arora quickly called to put him at risk.

Zhang tabled Jx9x for top pair, but Arora held AxAx to put him in a tough spot. Unfortunately for Zhang, the runout could not save him and the defending champ ended his run in 20th place.

Arora and Daniels Fall to Vuong

After Jonathan Vuong made it 430,000 to go, Kyle Arora moved all in for 1,600,000 and the action was back on Vuong.

"I'm sorry for nit-rolling," he said after a good minute and made the call, showing A♠Q♠ against the K♥Q♥ of Arora.

Arora would need some help to stay alive, but the flop of A♣A♥5♥ left him drawing only to running hearts. Unfortunately for him, the 2♦ immediately killed those hopes and he was sent to the rail when the river hit the 10♦.

Two hands later, Vuong got it in once more, this time against Jake Daniels, whom he also covered.

Daniels would need a lot of help to stay alive against Vuong's aces, but the runout of Q♣10♥7♥3♥10♦ could not do it and he was sent to the payout desk as well.

Tran Gets Paid; Jauregui Bounces Back

On a heads-up completed board of J♠7♥K♠7♠4♥, Andrew Tran led out for 600,000 and the action was on Alejandro Jauregui.

After thinking it over for nearly a minute, he decided to pay it off but was then shown the bad news when Tran tabled K♣K♥ for the top full house. Jauregui quickly mucked and the big pot was awarded to Tran.

Fortunately for Jauregui, he was able to double up the very next hand when his ace-queen bested the ace-ten of John Ross.

After a preflop betting war, Joel Trevino moved all in and Maxx Holland made the call, barely covering.

The two players were most likely going to chop, but the flop of 5♠J♦K♦ gave Trevino a free roll with the flush draw.

Fortunately for Holland, the runout of 4♣6♣ bricked out for the two players to take their bets back.

"Yeah, I did not like that flop, to answer your question," holland laughed as he narrowly avoided disaster.
