Bullets For Silver

Nivel 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante
Max Silver (Day 1)
Max Silver (Day 1)

With an already sizable pot built in the middle, Max Silver and Ilkin Garibli were heads up on a board of {9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Silver cut out a fourth street bet of 18,500 and Garibli thought for a moment before moving out a call.

Fifth street was the {3-Hearts} and Silver took his time before reaching for chips. He opted to slide a stack of 32,600 into the center of the table. Garibli went into the tank, pondering his action against Silver. After about 90 second, Garibli dropped forward a call.

Silver confidently tabled {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} for a flopped set of aces. Garibli flung his cards at the muck and Silver was pushed the pot. He now has roughly 175,000 to his name.

Boeree tabled {A-Spades}{9-Spades} for an ace-high flush, Torigian mucked and Boeree collected the pot.

Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

We didn't see the action, but the dealer was counting down Bernardo Coelho's stack for a double against Ole Schemion. Coelho had flopped a set with {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} on the {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Hearts} board, while Schemion had {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} in front of him for a weaker boat. The German crusher was forced to send 75,100 to his opponent.

Different Card Please?

Nivel 11 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Tony Baggio opened the action for 2,500 and Chris Moneymaker called from the cutoff. Philip Sousa called from the big blind and the three saw a flop of {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Sousa checked, Baggio bet 6,000, and Moneymaker called. Sousa folded and the dealer put out the {5-Spades}.

Baggio checked and the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event champion bet 12,000. Baggio thought for a moment, looked back at his cards, and then said something in his native tongue to another player at the table. The other player translated to the dealer saying "he wants a different card." Baggio turned over {9-}{9-} as he folded his hand and Moneymaker took down the pot.
