With Andrea Volpi's last 800 chips committed in the big blind, Francesco Delfoco opened with an early position limp which was followed by a hijack raise to 3,300 and a button call.

Delfoco then reraised to 9,200 which shed both opponents, leaving Volpi's potential elimination in his hands.

The board came A♦Q♣A♠Q♠3♠ as Delfoco's creatively played nines took the side pot, but Volpi was able to quadruple up for the moment before being eliminated shortly after.

Action was followed after Haruto Murata had jammed the flop from the cutoff into Ladislao Batlle in middle position with the pot at around 40,000.

The 2♥9♥4♠ board was already showing and Batlle took some time to think before folding his hand, leaving Murata to scoop the pot.

Murata showed his K♥J♥ flush draw to the table before the dealer shuffled the deck.

Anufriiev Picks Off Lupulescu

With 14,000 in the pot on the turn and the board reading K♥Q♦8♣J♠, Stanislav Anufriiev checked his small blind to Ionut Lupulescu who bet 5,000.

Anufriiev called and the dealer completed the board with the 5♠. Anufriiev checked again. Lupulescu fired another bet, this time for 9,000, which Anufriiev quickly called.

Lupulescu could only show A♦2♠ for ace-high, while Anufriiev turned over A♥K♠ for top pair, top kicker to take the pot.

Three players were all in with their cards face up. Raif El Arigie was at risk from the cutoff for around 2,000 chips and Kenny Hallaert was all in from the big blind as Caleb Godin covered both from the button.

The 6♥Q♣5♥ flop gave El Arigie hope with a pair of sixes, but Godin retained the lead pairing his queen. This held on the 3♦ turn, but the 2♥ river gave El Arigie two pair and a triple up. Godin got the side pot, eliminating Hallaert from the tournament.

Although El Arigie was saved in this hand, just a few hands later, he was seen walking away from the table after being eliminated from the tournament. Hallaert was seen a few moments later at a new table after reentering the tournament.

Criado's River Bluff Can't Get Through Andersson

Following a raise to 2,100 by Roman Criado in the cutoff, Sven Andersson three-bet to 6,500. Criado called and the dealer spread a flop of K♥6♦4♦.

Criado check-called a bet of 3,500 from Andersson to see the 9♣ fall on the turn. He checked again, and then called once more, this time for 7,200 to see the 2♦ complete the board.

Immediately, Criado moved all in for 11,800 effective and he was quickly called by Andersson.

Criado could only show J♦10♥ for a failed bluff as Andersson turned over A♠K♠ for top pair, top kicker
